This is a robocaller. Unsolicited commercial solicitation. If your machine answers the call, it starts the pitch immediately, talks right through the voicemail greeting and into recording time, leaving an incomplete message and then instructing the caller to press 1 for more information. Probably harmless, but annoying.

got a call from this number. quite annoying.

sounded like a live caller that left a message inquiring if I did websites for small businesses.

"Mark" calling asking if we do websites for small businesses. We do but this is an obvious robocall and not even interested in calling back to find out what the pitch is. I'm sure it's working pretty well for them though...

I called back and a woman answered and said that Mark was on the other line then the to call cut off. Not sure why. I tried calling back and then it went to busy. I tried texting and I got this back:

So I'm just forgetting about it and marking the number as spam.

same story. message from mark asking about web sites for small businesses. exact same wording as the transcriptions already reported.

Unbelievable! I thought I had another potential client. Same message. They gotta be selling something.

Same here. The message left sounded authentic, live voice like a small business owner, etc. I thought it could be a potential client or maybe a fellow trying to sell his web design services. Glad I looked it up here before calling back. Saving this number in my SPAM/SALES/SCAM numbers.
I do websites with my business. Seems the organization is pulling information from Internet and targeting the website designer with this call. But what in the heck are they selling? They do not seem to be achieving sales only leaving messages from the other comments here.

Received a robocall with the following message: "Mark, I was wondering if you do website's first small businesses. If you would, please give me a call back. My phone number (512) 865-5321. Again, my name is Mark And I was wondering if you do. Like website for small businesses, phone number is (512) 865-5321 talk to you soon. Thanks."

Called back and it sounded like a live call where a woman answered but it was actually a recording that plays for a few seconds and disconnects. Possibly a collection agency using this system to verify phone numbers where folks don't answer to their calls.

Got it too, and didn't call back cuz it sounded suspicious. Then got EXACTLY the same call the following day, same words, same voice same intonation –clearly a recording.
I'm on the "no call" list too, so I hope they nab this scammer soon.
