Calls hourly, never anyone there, when you call it back automated message says the code you entered is wrong.   Very annoying and I cannot get it to stop.

Same as the other person said--multiple calls per day, caller ID says "UNKNOWN" until you call it back, then this number shows up 512-865-6696. No one answers and then you get the message that says the code or number you entered is incorrect--in English and Spanish. No other information.

what do we need to do to report these annoying calls.  there is never anyone there.

hwo do we report this number for harrassment.

We've received calls from this number as late as 10:15 p.m.  I believe that it is illegal to call phones after 9:00 p.m.

Same number called me.  Answered politely. Just hung up.  Judging by the last four digits, it's satan just checking up on people :-)

I got a call from this number, no answer after I answered.  I had the same thought as Mike Jones.

Can these calls be reported to the authorities?

I just dialed my own cell phone to keep my SKYPE account active the number showed up on my cell phone as 865-6696  ( I am 512 area code )   So y'all may be getting calls from skype users ???  

I googled the number just to see what came up and i found this thread. Not sure that this helps any but it's another snippet of information.

This number called me and showed up on caller I'd, but when I answered it was a family member. Too weird. Do you have any clue who this is or how that number showed up when it was a family membe calling me? That's not my family members phone number either. So strange!

Same here. I answered and no one there but the line was open.

Same got a weird call answered and it was a conversation hung up and when I called it back it said that the number was no longer in service

If you read through this tread you will see that the numbers are the numerical equalivant to "Unknown" when spelled out on a phone keypad which means the person calling has blocked their number. It is a known issue for Sprint and suposedly they are working on fixing it. It only stareted happening to me when I got my iphone... yet another reason I wish I had kept my Evo... sigh.

If you check your number keypad, 865-6696 (without the area code) spells out "Unknown."

Coincidence? Probably not.

Please make the calls stop from 512-865-6696. Harrasment

Had my carrier block # so prankster can get thru to my phone anymore.
Recommend trying this to stop the annoyance.

Same annoying experience as the rest of you are having from 865-6696, multiple times a week.
