These people say they have a warrant for your arrest. And that you owe some kind of bill. Don't owe anybody anything that is not up to date and I do not have unpaid bills.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Message claims that it is in my best interest to return phone call due to a complaint filed against me under my name and to return call to hear my side of the complaint and to defend myself. Claims it is in my best interest to return phone call.  I refuse to return call knowing this is a scam. I'm a reputable citizen, hard working, established in my community for over 25 years. Nothing could be good from this phone call. I have a very common name that could easily be used to scam. I don't believe this call is coming from India, the caller is a female, African American claiming her name to be Ester Davis perhaps, speaks very fast and name does not sound clear enough to know what name is she calling herself.
I did a reverse look on up on phone number and it said Level 3 VOIP. Not sure what they are trying to pull.

I received the same call like 20 mins ago; stating I have a warrant for my arrest. My identity was stolen three times within 3 years. Make sure you place an protection on all three of your credit files and take pro-caution on whats going on. Never accept these calls or take to them; just hang up and place on call reject from your cell or block their number.

We got the same call. Scam.

Just got this call twice. Sent both to voicemail. First call left VM calming a formal complaint was filed against me, I may not be aware as I haven't responded to notices, to call back today to get a recorded statement and she is sending the report out today for finalization. Gave name of Jessica Davis. No VM to second call mins later.

Received this call and they even called my work. I talked with the sheriff office and this is a scam. When I talked with the lady from this number and informed her I knew this is a scam she then got extremely rude and used profound words and told me I was going to jail. DO not fall for this scam.!!!!!!!!

This is the second time these people of called me. Once about two months ago. I told the lady she was full of crap. I call blocked this number they used today.
I have no complaints against me in my state. I always do a search every week.
Same exact saying as what she told you. They search old information on you and try to scam you into paying for something you know nothing about.
She said they send letters out to you but you never get them.

Just got a call from these people that it would be in my best interest to call them back about a complaint filed against me.

Here's the basic transcript from Google Voice.  Please disregard the errors "Urgent message intended for <My name> from out the <my name> you need a return our call immediately to Jessica Davis that is in regards to a formal complaint file directly against you. My contact number is 512872419 and Sita status return the call immediately."

I have gotten a call from these people a few times already.  I do not know how they got my work number and my cell phone number, but they are telling me that I have a federal warrant out for my arrest.  Funny thing is that I work at a law firm and now how the system works if you have a warrant... the police come a knocking.  This is some type of scam.
