http://www.spokeo.com/512-879-telemarketers - suzyq660 replies to Elspeth| 1 replyThey really do sell bullion coins. It is U.S. Money. They sell coins in those ads you see in magazines and they sell on television shopping channels.

If it really is them, and not some spoofing their number or otherwise claiming to be them, they still have to follow the laws regarding telemarketing.
But irrespective of that, I think you are unlikely to get the best deal from companies that advertise to that broad an audience. I would recommend going to a book store with a big magazine rack and buying a publication such as Coin World or Numismatic News and start your search for reputable dealers there. Buy issues of both magazines for a year or more before you buy any gold coins, if you want, just to see which dealers are in it for the long haul.
If you are interested in buying coins as collectibles rather than merely for their metal content, you can also attend a live auction or an Internet auction. (Some companies even set up Internet auctions where the Internet bidding competes in real time with the live auction.) A couple of companies that sell and auction coins are Heritage Auctions, which, though based in Dallas, TX, has live auctions at various times all over the country. They auction much more than just coins and currency, but seperately from their coin and currency auctions. They have an informative website for coins at http://coins.ha.com/?ic=Task-coins-121913 , and Heritage has been around a long time. You can also learn a lot about coins by looking under the heading "Common Questions" in their FAQ at http://coins.ha.com/c/ref/faq.zx .
Another auctioneer that has been in business for a long time is Stack's Bowers Gallery. You can access them at http://stacks.com . They apparently also have a bullion store with what should be reasonable prices for US and world bullion coins.
You can also buy gold and silver bullion coins, when available, directly from the US Mint at http://www.usmint.gov . Just remember that, if you buy from them, you won't be able to sell it back to them at some date in the future. And perhaps more importantly, you will be paying retail prices, including a substantial premium for coins made by special processes and handled in such a way that makes them especially attractive to collectors.
Whatever you do, be careful. There are many risks beyond telemarketing calls involved in investing in precious metals and bullion coins. - Robert WayneI got a call from them today. Although gold and silver are good investments as a hedge against the increasingly worthless fiat paper money put out by the feds, I wish they'd stop calling me when I'm busy at work.

- Against The Law, Let Me Count The WaysWho in their right mind would purchase suposedly 'valuable' metals from a company which brazenly violates the Do Not Call statutes to peddle their 'investments'?
It seems to me that trust in the integrity of an outfit would be paramount in order to feel secure about turning your hard earned money over to them for safekeeping, and yet they're harassing people who've specifically registered their numbers NOT to be harassed by telemarketers?
I mean, if they're casually skirting *that* law, what other laws might they be not particularly inclined to scrupulously observe?
I'll pass, thank you.- Caller: USMR

They called a second time but no message was left. - Erin replies to being scammed?| 2 repliesUmmm, your stupid. That company does exist and some people order precious metals from them and have them store the metals. Your Dad probably ordered some things from them. Why wouldn't you want it? Have you seen silver & gold prices lately? It's legit, you should call.
