got the same call as "From Houston" indians accent asking to call back for IRS investigation... SCAM Please report this number.

Robocall saying IRS has an arrest warrant & provides a call-back number. This is a scam & was recently covered by CNN as it's cost people over $20M so far this year. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER.  If you're afraid you're in trouble with the IRS call your local office.  The IRS does NOT use robocalls, threaten arrests via the phone or use local law enforcement.

Got a call from Austin TX from an Officer Koffman with an Indian accent saying he's from the Crime Investigation Unit of the IRS and there is a warrant - it's a Federal Investigation, blah blah blah. SCAM!!!!!

Got this call also it's a scam do not call back....

Caller left a message stating they were a special investigations unit of INS and that it involved property confiscation. English does not seem to be this caller's first language. Accent made it difficult to understand the message. Looks like a scam to me.

received call at business to call this number back was IRS.  Person had foreign accent and was very hard to understand.  This call was from a recorder.  Thanks for the info that it is a SCAM

my call was just like Abby's- Got a call from Officer Koffman with an Indian accent saying he's from the Crime Investigation Unit of the IRS saying there's is a warrant and that there's an investigation on my property.  my husband called them back and after calling them back 4 times, they finally picked up.  My husband questioned them so much, they hung up on us!

Got call from 5128796515 today Columbus Day 12 Oct 2015  @ 9:18 am from: " Off.J.Kaufman".  Said the words: crime investigation-IRSUnit-Federal Investigation--arrest warrant--physical property--call for the details of this case".

The tone of his voice was "friendly-like" almost warm with foreign Indian accent.  His English was choppy with mixed ideas and he did say Thank You at the end of his message.

WHAT A SCAM!  HE HAS ACCESS TO SOME SORT OF PROPERTY RECORDS!

Thanks to you all for this website.  It was frustrating to listen to the real IRS menu...

He must be scamming from some sort of data records there around the Government Office Buildings.

He said call # "for details of this case".

the number  512-879-6915,was obviously a scammer call. An Indian accent man said there was a warrant for my arrest and that our property was under investigation. He left a message on my phone to call him back. I knew there was no such investigation because IRS will notify you in writing, I did not call this Indian person back to release any personal information

A prank caller saying they are from the IRS, not real, just add to your block calls..

The guy just called me with the same story as everyone's above, same foreign language... he sounded so stupid and think people are so naive and ignorant.  I hope he reads this message. IDIOT

Just got the ph call. I told Mr Birdy num num that I was going to call my attorney, he then asked me if I lived in a 4 bd apartment...the nerve.

A female with a heay Indian accent said my property and I would be seized and under arrest if I didn't call Mr. Jack Hoffman immediately within one minute at this number. Obvious scam! Scary thing is that my caller ID identified the number she called from as the IRS office in San Antoio, TX. This might cofuse some people into paying:(

Officer Jake Hoffman from the Criminal Investigation Unit calling on behalf of the IRS.  Investigating on fraud tax filings from 2012-2014 for amount of $1854.00.  (I always file and never had any notices from IRS or any audits).  Says to clear warrant, I must buy government certified bonds from any DOLLAR STORE and send them to the IRS. When I asked for an address to send them, he asked me if I got them.  I said no but I will just give me an address and that's when he hung up on me. SCAM!  Has an accent (Indian, I believe) and so does a woman that answered the first time that I called and then when I questioned them, she hung up! I called back and got "Officer Jake Hoffman" he got an attitude also, threatening about signing a warrant if I don't cooperate.  Not only that, he got on the walkie talkie while on the phone with me to tell another "officer" if they had my file with them because they might need to come and arrest me.  The officer also had an accent.  Such a scam!!!  I am reporting them to both the IRS and to the FBI.  I see posts here that these people came out on CNN for scamming people out of millions of dollars.  DON'T BE FOOLED.  IRS won't call you like this.  If you aren't sure, always call and IRS 800-366-4484 and they will tell you for sure if you there is a problem that needs your attention.  Remember, the IRS will notice you by mail, not phone.

Got a call from "Senior Officer Jake Hoffman" with an Indian accent. Seems he's got a new line, "call back today or tomorrow morning about your arrest warrant, if we do not hear from you, the case will be sent to the court...." blah, blah,blah.
