I keep getting calls from this number and when I tell the person I am not interested, they just talk louder and faster and I have to hang up. I have placed our numbers on the no call list, but that doesn't seem to be stopping this number.

This number called our cell phones while we were in England this summer and we had a hefty charge. What do we do about getting reimbursed?

Call back after dialing *67, or leave a message stating simply that you are "interested, but to please call you back at this number 202-326-3224."

The number 202-326-3224 is actually the FTC (Food and Trade Commission) number for consumer protection.

Giving them this number is the best thing to do, even if you call them back from your cell or home phone and give it to them directly.

You can add your # to their do not call list on their website.  http://www.venturedata.com/NoCallList.htm     Hopefully, it will work.

Still calling and hanging up, MULTIPLE TIMES, three years later.  By the way, there is no way on earth I'd trust a company so incompetent at handling a telephone with a "do not call list!"  I imagine you're just signing up for more hang-up calls...

Called but I didn't answer. i called the number back from my work phone and got a recorded message "Venture Data Research"

Calls our home often. We answer, they don't speak and left no message. What a shame as I can't change phone number as I have kids and grandkids all over the country so I get 20 calls a day from calls like this I can't quit and get only few calls per week from family. Sad this type of action is allowed to continue unchecked. I've written letters to you phone companies, city, state, and federal officials. I get at best a form letter back saying sorry about your luck, don't answer the phone. Or buy some call box filter but note that it could block a call from a legit source or family member. What a choice. I will keep posting these callers and maybe someday a person will devise a way to block these greedy people.

I'm in the same situation as yourself concerning the inability to change my number. I found out that the hospital in our area harvest, and sell information given to their "social workers" (persons doing the harvesting.) We are bothered NON-STOP, as early as 7am til after 2am.

We've received several numbers from this call in the past 2 weeks.  Suspect it's a voter poll or a scam.  Blocked.
