Knew my name; told me to add on y! Message with screen name

Does anyone know who this person is?

Received a text asking for a person who I am not, maybe a previous inert if my number

I got the text too.  Knew my first name.  Spam

Just got a text, new first name. Don't recognize the number.

Got text message - knew my first name - asked me to add them to Yahoo Messenger. Will be reporting this phone number to the proper authorities.

Unsolicited text message saying "haven't heard from you for a while.  you still there?"  Looked it up and deleted the spam...

Received a text stating "hey Pookie u there?? Have not heard from you in a while."
Responded with "Who is this?"
They never replied...

I got a text from this number too they knew my name and said "u there? haven't heard from u in a while." I asked who it was they said "Haha if you wanna know who this is you gotta add me on Yahoo msnger. my id is hurleyzmz761". Then they said "hey my cell is gonna die. just talk to me on yahoo." WTF is this crap??

I didn't receive a text, just a nosy reader! But yesterday and again today I've seen the same reports under various numbers on the home page. Very strange...

Started with " Hi Guy u there?? Have not heard from you in awhile. When I texted " This is ?" the response was " lol if you wanna know who this is u gotta ad me on yahoo msnger. my id is demetriuswfi839 "

I got a text from a different number 903-603-9220 but it had the same message. They knew my first name. They said they hadn't talked to me in awhile. When I said "who's this" they responded "haha if u want to know who this is add me on yahoo messenger hurleyzmz761". I said I don't have yahoo messenger, who is this? They replied "omg my phone is about to die, just talk to me on Y!". I went to my computer and googled "Who is yahoo messenger hurleyzmz761 and I found this page on the top of the list. Please find out who this is. I don't like people playing these stupid games.

If you have yahoo, block them on messenger and then report it to yahoo abuse.
They either want to spam you or scam you

Received a text message (they knew my first name) saying "Hey Michael you there? Haven't heard from u in a while."  When I wrote back and asked who it was...they answered by saying "LOL if u want to konw who this is u got to add me on Y!Messenger, my name is vitoriasog772".

Sound like a scam to me!

I got a msg as well but since my facebook name is different than my real name i know they used facebook to get to me

I got the same exact text today to add txtgirlie13 and i called the number and it was a TEXT PLUS number... I'm very confused by this but its shady! Don't like it at all!
