Received a reply from this number asking me to reply back to them regarding a craigslist ad I posted wanting me to send them my home email if I still have the item.  RED FLAG! I obviously did not reply but beware!

This is spam. Same thing wanted email and phone number

Got the same thing today on two different AD's just a few seconds a part and both MSG's were exact:

They just messaged me about my craigs list ad as well... same EXACT message they left for VeeDubist.   UGHHH.. Are there any real people on criags list anymore, all I have gotten was scam spam!

Got the same message about a listing on craigslist.  Texted back and forth several times.  He/she claims to be a marine technician working offshore and unable to call for restrictions at work.  I asked to call them and got more run about.  I asked for his name and address for the title work and got no response.  Do not give out your email address to this person because I believe it is an effort to hack your account and get more information about you.

wanted to buy my car off craigslist for his kid. couldnt meet in person, wanted me to sell to him through paypal. am texting him that he is a scammer!!

Got the same message about him being an off shore marine tech. Said he wanted my car as a surprise for his son but wouldn't speak to me on the phone. Told him I was a police officer and wouldn't you know it tge conversation ended.

This phone number emailed me about an add on Craig's List asking me to text it. When I did, it told me it was a marine tech over seas wanting to buy a truck  as a surprise for his son. Then asked for my pay-pal account, email address (although it had already emailed me), and for my HOME ADDRESS so it could send the shipping company to pick my truck up?!? I thought it sounded funny so I Googled it and this is what I found. This is crazy!

I have 3 items posted on craigslist, and received texts back to back from this number asking if items or "goods" were still available... I've done this long enough to spot a scammer from a mile away, so I never replied to the texts, and after 30 minutes or so, I then received emails for all 3 items asking me to reply if still available or text (513) 275-9976

Ditto to all the comments above re: 513-275-9976. Responded to my Craigslist ad with a request that I text him/her. Didn't smell right.
