I wouldn't call Judah Jamiel he is the Collections Manager and he continued to be condescending, rude and yelled at me on the phone. I reported it to BBB, and will be contacting Scott Caudill to advise him of this. Judah continuously asked me how he could help, so I told him, and he continued to yell on the phone I advised that he needed to work on his customer service skills, and he told me he isn't customer service. Well if he isn't customer service why am being transferred to him when I initially asked for someone else, and why is he asking me how he could help me. If he wants to help me give me someone that can if he can't. He advised that to settle for a different amount than what was offered he would have to contact the client to see what they would take, but earlier I had spoke with one of his employees Tiffany ext 36 and she put me on hold to see if the client would take my offer. He immediately said she called him about the amount and he accepted it. So why can't he approve a lower amount if he is the client (not the actual company I am settling my debt with). They are screwed up. Judah was a jerk and very unprofessional. He even said that there was an expiration on the offer I was given and that it was on the contract I was faxed moments before. While looking at the fax and talking to him I advised where is it at because I don't have it on the information in front of me. He proceeded to mock me and say " Well your not perfect either or you wouldn't be on the phone with me would you." First off I never stated I was perfect, and second your the one who sent the document I was just letting him know if didn't have the date on it. [***].  He continuously asked what do you want me to do for you, but never seemed to listen to anything I said. I wouldn't ask to speak with him if life depended on it for anyone who does call.

OK folks here is an idea.  Go pick up the book either in audio form or read it but its called  "Debit Cure$ "They"  Dont want YOU to know about by Kevin Trudeau.  It is mind blowing.  I read the book but the best part is I have a Prepaid Legal membership and used it for this.  I was getting calls from this company demanding that I pay a debit.  Yes I owed it, but the amount they wanted I could not pay.  They were starting to say they would take me to court.  So I bet them to it.  I called my attorney and now my phone is quite from them calling.  My $26 dollars a month paid for itself there and yes I got a payment I can actually afford to pay.  If you need help check out my site www.jgham.com

received a call from 253-561-7986 - Caller ID "VIRGO" - it's a debt consolidation company, however, I have no debt to consolidate.  Couldn't understand this person that said he was from FL - Told him "I'm not interested and don't call again".  There were numerous calls on my caller ID from this same number - all calls w/in 5 minutes of each other.

I have contacted them directly via phone and mail requesting that they no longer contact me at work.  The debt is paid and according to our attorney more than paid.  I have even filed a complaint with the FTC regarding them.  They called my work stating that there was a process server in my parking lot waiting to serve me if I did not give him 650.00.  I explained to this Micheal - eho told me he was an attorney and his job was to help me out - that this was paid and asked him for proof.  I then caved and gave him our checking information because our attorney was not reachable on the phone when "Micheal" was calling me.  I then spoke to our attorney who had me stop payment on the payment I gave him...they called back a few days later claiming I was committing fraud by passing a forged instrument and my intent was to de-fraud them.  I again explained to "Micheal" that we have paid the debt and that if he was really an attorney that he would know that you cannot just call a process server to stop them.  I also asked for proof of the debt and still have not received it.  I then started getting called back to back on my cell then office phone then cell and so on.  I verbally told them each time they called that they were not to call me at work and I mailed a letter ~ they are still calling a few times per week and calling my cell and when I do not pick up they call my office and when I pick up and hang up they call my cell.  This will go on for about 5-10 minutes before they get the hint and then stop only to start again in a day or two.  How can I truly stop this harrassment?

Tell them that they are calling a cell # and causing you more debt. Tell them to contact you by mail. They legally can not cause you more debt trying to collect a debt.

You don not need to buy any membership for legal advice or buy Kevin Trudeu; both of these situations are scams.  I had a debt with Paramount Recovery Service for other $1000, and I decided to settle the debt for a smaller amount.  If you are in debt and collection agency calling all day and night, you need to be the one in control in the conversation.  Do not allow them to take advantage of you.  They would call 4 to 5 times a day.  What you need to do is have them fax you a letter for a lower amount and they will delete the account from all three credit reports.  Once, you received the letter, tell them that you will send a money order through Money Gram or Western Union to them.  This will give you a tracking number and receipt that you sent the money.  Also, be specific in the settlement letter, for example, they have 10 business days to delete the account, they will not charge interest, and the date they received payment.  At this time, I am thinking of taking another collection company to Small Claims Court.  I hope they will not show up, and have the court dismissed.  Good Luck!
