Auto-dialer called me. When I answered a guy (obviously from a call center) named Doug asked if I got the important information from my Duke bill? We don't get a Duke Energy bill... our landlord pays our electric. Total scam.

Answered. Long silence. Female asked if I would give her info from my Duke bill (right!) so she could lower my energy bill. Right.

Lady called and laughed then hung up. I'm constantly telling them do not call!

Lady called saying she was a senior account specialist calling on behalf of Duke and wanting to lower my bill because “I deserve that.”
Got very snippy when I started asking questions like, are you a Duke employee or just calling about my bill and wanting me to switch.
She wished me a happy life (in a tone that indicated she really didn’t) and hung up.

I called the number back and kept calling until they answered. The telemarketing company is calling on behalf of Park Power LLC out of PA.  Make no mistake, these are illegal telemarketing calls.  FYI: The person I spoke with was rude and unprofessional - which in my book, reflects on exactly what kind of company Park Power really is!

Caller was very unprofessional said they were from
Duke electric and asked was very unprofessional. Gave him 5 seconds to identify himself correctly before I hung up. He didn’t and I hung up and blocked him.

I get these calls often enough that I've labeled it "scam likely" on my phone and just ignore when they call. They never leave a vm and will invariably call back at some point. At least they don't do the "three calls in a row/hang up in the space of a minute" thing, like some other spammy callers.

Dirtbag utility scam. Total “we can save you money” rip-off.

"Unprofessional person" called on 12/3 claiming he was calling from Duke Energy and was going to save me money on my next utility bill.  Wanted me to get my bill and give him information on the bill.  I refused as I did not have access to the bill and he said he would call back.  Tried to call again today and I did not answer. Will block this # from future calls

Power company scam - why doesn't Duke Energy help go after these people?  It just makes people annoyed with Duke!

OK so she was really good!  I almost fell for it LOL she definitely was tugging at my heart strings telling me she could save me money and I “deserve it“ and how she wakes up every day to make a difference in peoples lives and she can help save me money!
