Claims to be a fraud investigation unit with charges pending over a defaulted payday loan from 2006. I have a call in to my state attorney generals office and am waiting for a call back. Requested a fax with information regarding the supposed debt, the fax had a different company's name at the top, and was very vague. I suggest contacting your own state attorney general office before dealing with whoever this truly is.

This company keeps calling me and harrassing me saying I will go to jail if I do not pay back a payday loan from six years ago.

These fools also called me about some payday loan in 2006, I was 16 in 2006. Told them i would drive to the police station myself. and they hung up.

These scammers have called me as well, today I alerted them that I have contacted the FTC and my state's attorney generals office who told me to alert them that they can send me any information regarding any debt they believe I owe to my address. I also informed him that I have a fraud alert out on my credit now since they had my ss#. He hung up.  I never even took out a payday loan, hese guys are bottom feeding scum bags. They need to get a real job. Looked up the phone numbers info... It's a cell phone from bandwidth. "Scott Powers" and "Michael Moore" contacted me. I filed complaints with the FTC and my state's Attorney Generals Office, gave the number and these lame fake names to them as we'll, you all should do the same.
