No message . I get them all the time !

received 2 calls.   No one answered on other side.

Received 2 calls asking for Randy and I told them wrong number and they said maybe I could help them and they started on with some speel about the Leukemia Associated and wanted money.  Think it is a scam

Received one missed call (no message left) and answered it today. Caller asked for someone else's name, and when I told them it was the wrong number, she rattled off the same message as above about raising funds for the children's Leukemia Association. She asked if I would like to receive a post card so that I could respond with a tax deductible donation. That would require I provide my home address, so NOPE. I asked her to remove my number from whatever list she found it on. I donate in person at every location that requests it like grocery stores. Calling my home number and asking for someone else does not set well with me, even if it's legit.

Has called multiple times this week I never answer but always leave a one second voicemail with nothing being said. Googled number to see who it was and that's how I found this site sounds like it's a common theme they do.

I have gotten a call from this number several times this week. How is it that I am on the do not call list and now I get more calls than ever! I am growing very tired of this!

Fact: The National Do Not Call list is NOT a call blocker!
The DNC list is a LIST, subscribed to / purchased by legitimate telemarketers, so they know who not to call. The FCC or FTC do not give or sell the list to unqualified recipients! Click "Tip" for a tip.

Fact: Telephone numbers on the Registry don’t expire.  You do NOT have to re-register periodically.

Fact: Scammers and spammers ignore the DNC list.
Many use "war dialers" to quickly dial phone numbers.  After all, phone numbers are just numbers, and are no secret!  (Arabic numbers were invented about 500 AD, so even stupid scammers know about them by now).

Fact: The DNC list does not apply to NON-sales calls, such as political calls, charities, surveys, debt collectors and businesses with which you have done business with during the previous 18 months.

Fact:  Spam callers can be blocked by getting a real call blocker.
 Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

This number repeatedly calls. I answered it finally, but they asked for James. I am not James. Then, they proceed to say maybe I can help. They go on about Fraternal Order of Police. I just hung up on them. Blocked the number in hopes they don't reach out again.

I once received one of those wrong number "maybe you can help me" calls. I told him that if he's looking for somebody else, I can't help him. He stammered a moment and then just hung up. LOL

Repeated phone calls no msgs

Same hear, except he asked for Irvin, notified him wrong #, then 'maybe you can help' and his speel was about raising money for police foundation.

Repeated calls from this number. Often if I decline too fast I will get another call within a minute. I'm glad I have never picked up as I can see it is just a scam. Blocking this number now.

Blocked them!  Second time I received a call

They claim to raise money for charities. Said they're exempt from the do not call list. Seems like a convenient way to get around the regulation.

Received a call, didn't answer and there was no VM left.

Calls multiple times weekly. Drops call, no message.
