Left a message.  Offering a reduction on my electric bill.  Gave call back number & reference number.  Didn't call back - not interested.

Wife answered on 3rd ring. Recording was already speaking.  Said something about a "case number" and hung up.  Sounds like it might be consistent with Steph's comment above.

Just received the phone call as well.  They left message as well about the electric bill.  Can we say BLOCK!

These electric companies are annoying.  I heard there were 70 different suppliers in Ohio alone and I bet I have had numerous calls from all of them.  Is there ANYTHING that can be done to stop these calls.  I'm at the end of my patience!  My BP goes thru the roof .  I can't take much more of this.  It's been years now.

Left message regarding reduction in my electric account supply and included reference number and callback number. Not planning to call back.

sounds like it's probably first energy/illuminating company - robo call probably corresponding to turning on my new electrical service

Left a voicemail about a reduction on my electric account which is HILARIOUS since I don't have an account so I know it's a LIE. Blocked!!!

Irritating telemarketer.

Left me a message about electric supply reduction with case number. Did not call back. Sounded fishy

This number called and just like everyone else said it was Theresa from client services to authorize a supply reduction on my electric account. It closed with the same 855 number and reference number. Didn't mention a company name or anything.

Just received a call from this number BUT did not leave a message.

This number called -- our business line -- same story, Robo Teresa from "client services" to authorize a supply reduction on our electric account. It closed with the same 855 number and reference number. No mention of a company name.  We're constantly getting robo calls, at least 40% of the time.  What's the deal??!  I get these on my personal cell AND at work!!  NO RESPECT, EVER!  Sheesh.

Shucks, Eileen, breathe slowly, ....breathe deep.  There is nothing you can do except block the number, or report it to the Do Not Call folks [you, know; the feds]

"Theresa" from "Client Services". Honey, Client Services is a department not a company.  She left VM message w/ toll free number and I.D. @ to reference. Yeah, you sit by the phone and wait for my call.
Not sure what's worse, these people or the ones who actually call back keeping the scam alive.

Left message, beginning of which was cut off. Only thing left was something about a reference number and number to call back. The beginning of the message being cut off may be intentional so people think it's a legitimate call rather than telemarketing or scam.

I do not answer if I don't know the number or if one of my contact names does not appear.  If they don't leave a message, I block the number

Caller ID read UNAVAILABLE.  I picked the phone up on the first ring and got a robocaller message about case number 01014.

Typical solicitor,  did not call back

Same here, reducing my electric bill. I told the last guy I didn't care, it's my husbands money. He hung up on me.
