- Kenneth replies to Peggy"Reefer" as in refrigerated hauler, and "drugs" was mistakenly heard...it was TRUCKS there Peggy. These people are freight haulers/handlers, not drug dealers.
- JillSO ANNOYING! They have called our office at least 6 times. We have been nice and told them we are not interested, but thank you for calling. Then as the calls continued we became irritated and would say "not interested" and hang-up on them. Then a few minutes ago, yet another call. I listened and asked them, why they kept calling when we had told them repeatedly that we were not interested. They replyed by saying, "we have just a couple of questions for you." I said, "what part of not interested do you not understand? If you call this number again, I will turn you in for harrassment - goodbye."
Not gonna believe it - but less than 5 minutes later ANOTHER CALL! This time I caught the guys name, "Dimetry". He said his brother had just told him that I was going to turn him into the police for harrassment, but that he didn't ........
and I hung up on him. - waldo_willie| 1 replyDamn shipping company--doing cold calling, trying to drum up business...asked me how many reefers a week I used...I said, "Well, I could use one right now and 3-4 a day"...But when I told the Lady it all depended on the quality of the weed, she didn't think it was funny and hung up on me. I thought it was funny as hell myself, being an ex-trucker.

- KatJust got a call from them. First off, the guy sounded a bit stoned. That or he had no idea what he was saying. "Hi do you guys, you know, when you makes stuff does it, um, do you, you know, send it places?" After that he made it sound like it was some sort of survey, and when I told him my shipping department was far too busy for that he said, "Oh well I'm not, um, you know, I'm wondering if we might help. I have trucks that are, you know, like five miles away." I informed him we had our own trucks for local deliveries. You can imagine how the conversation continued.

- Clarke Container| 1 replyThey called me approximately 3 times couldn't beat the rates that I got from ExFreight on LTL. I agreed to jump through the hoops again and was promised lunch if they couldn't get the rates to where they needed to be. Daniel said that he would call back the next day and buy Teresa and I lunch and he simply lied and never called. What are you if have no integrity! A DIRTY ROTTEN LIAR!! FILTH! Any business that operates this way should be punished!

I told him we were not interested and he started yelling about how do you ship things from one site to another. Then wanted someone who could help him besides me. I hung up. - ThiaAlso got a call for the owner of the company. Told the dude he wasn't available, but I could help him. From there, he was off and running, starting with "well, what sort of supplies do you use and make?" Told him it would help him to know we do not do any shipping, freight or otherwise. He repeated the question, I told him we were not interesting, DNC list us for his company, and hung up.

- Bob| 1 replyThey called a few times and we gave them a load to ship. They were not able to deliver the load as promised. When I complained about it the guy I was speaking with said that he didn't make that promise, someone else did and hung up on me. They will not be getting a second chance.

- kirkthese jerks keep calling on a daily basis..hang ups...
mad as hell..telemarketing to the lowest form... - Lisa replies to OperatorBDang, that's rude Must've gotten some new guys in because the guy that just called me (same thing, asked for our shipping manager and then when he wasn't available a former employee) but he was pretty nice about it and said he'd just call back next week. He was pretty polite, jokester, southern accent.. *swoon*. Lol. Sounds like they've brought in some new sales guys.
- Lisa replies to KIKIJust give them a call back and say, "listen, I'm not affiliated with anything that has to do with trucking." The guy I just got off the phone with was crazy polite, bet you can find someone to talk to that can help you get this stopped.
- Lisa replies to waldo_willieHahah holy heck that WAS funny! Thanks.
- Lisa replies to BobReally?! Wow, that's really low, thanks for letting us know, i was going to let him talk to the shipping manager next week but I don't think I'll be putting him through now. We don't associate with companies that treat their customers that way. They are now on my "black list".
- gibbsThese fools are freight brokers, they are just shopping contact lists obtained from logistics magazines or so called professional organizations like CCSM looking for loads. It is worth spending $500 for a list because you can easily recover that with one shipment by holding it hostage. Buyer beware as you can often run into a trucker using a broker service to find a load, then the trucker freelances on their own between point A and B moving another load at 100% profit. Just exhale, don't answer, smile, and have confidence that you foiled a potential disaster in the making.
- Caller: possibly TQL, did not answer
- boozing bukowskiThese guys called last evening after I left the office. The very large company I work for uses 3 carriers and has had a great working relationship with all of them since the '80s. If a logistics outfit has to troll for business, there's no way in heck we would even give them a second glance. It'll be interesting to see how often they call us now.
