This is part of a phishing scam. Call your bank/cu and they will verify that they don't know these folks.  They go by:  Card Fraud Detection or VANTIV. Assoc:  #513-900-4800, 513--900-3014, 800-889-5280

Received a bogus letter stating someone may be using my bank card and to stop using it.  Letter gives two telephone numbers to call: 800-889-5280 and 513-900-3014. Letter writer had used my mailing address as well as the name of my bank. It also may have made robo calls to my phone.

You may want to check with your bank directly about your account if a scammer has this much information about you, not a telephone number only. This scammer has been active for at least three years, based on the dates of the posted comments.

They were asking about my credit card number.

I received a letter.

Received letter saying there was possible card fraud & instructions to call 800-889-5280. I called the # & they asked for my complete card number.  I was uncomfortable doing that since the company name was not mentioned.

rec'd letter saying they were the card fraud detection dept and to call 18998895280 or 5139003014 if outside u.s.
i look at my own transactions every few days- no odd charges. i think it's a scam.
