Received a call, did answered it, female voice asking if I would like to participate in a servey on the topic of the legalization of marihuana in Canada. The voice asked to press 1 if I wanted to answer some question. I did press 1 and then the voice told me that a internet would be sent to me by message text.
Did receive the link in a message text, but from a different phone number (204-825-6257).
514 is a Montrea, Quebec, Canadal area code and 204 is a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Didn't click on the link!

Did not answer. They left a “message” one syllable incomprehensible.

This is a scam call aimed at getting your credit card number and other personal & financial info.
Don't fall in their trap.

At the end they tell you that you "win" a free cruise.
You just need to provide them with your Visa or Master Card number to "confirm" your "free" cruise.
Why don't these scammers get arrested by police? Police are so useless.

Definitely a scam....  call came before 7:30 am on my cell phone number.  Only four people have that number!  Not them!

Panda, they don't "need" your number, they don't know who you are.
They use an auto-dialer that dials numbers at random within a given area code.
It's an old fake survey scam that has been happening for years.

No, they are *not* telemarketers, they are scammers. Criminals. They want to steal, not sell.

Just received a call from the number on the same day that my credit card which had been compromised was being reported to the bank for fraudulent charges. Called the number back but call is always cut off.  Could be the same group verifying the phone number to use in order to fill out forms using my identity.

Robocall for a survey. Definitely telemarketing or scam. Should not be calling my number as it is on the No Call List!
