I received a phone call a short while ago and they didn't leave a message. Please stop

I am in B.C.
When I get those calls I do this and I never get a call from them again.
*60 listen to message then #01# listen to message confirming the annoying phone number has been blocked.

Received a call from these people yesterday 26 July and again today 27 July 2012.  No message is left....only the annoyance!

We keep getting these auto messages on our business phoneline from a variety of different phone numbers.  It asks you to complete a short survey to win a vacation to the Bahamas by pressing 1 or press 9 to decline.  It never accepts option 9.  

Fed up I finally pressed 1 to do this stupid survey. It was 3 questions and asked about political views dealing with Canadian politics.  Then it said press 1 to talk to someone about your vacation to the Bahamas.  I hung up...so hopefully it registered I did the survey so they leave us the heck alone. SO fed up!!!

Calling several times a day, even at night, very frustrating, please stop.

Have been getting calls from this number at all hours. STOP IT!!

Called our house at 10:30 at night after several calls registered on our call ID over a few days. I completed the survey in the hopes of being able to speak to someone and explain to them how inappropriate these unsolicited calls are. He was a travel agent who insisted they're not telemarketers. I asked where they're calling from. He said they're in Florida, which means it was also 10:30 there. As soon as I started saying my piece he hung up on me. It's so frustrating that strangers can invade your privacy in this way. This is not why I have a telephone.

have gotten the same calls, the callers' provider is Fibernetics.ca,  they say they can't do anything about it because the numbers keep changing as they block them.  Say they are working on it. Told me to call and report it.  Called Phone busters left a complaint, called Bell nothing they can do about it either.  So did the survey and at the end you get to talk to someone saying Congradulations!   Then told her how I felt about it, and she said it didn't have anything to do with them,  they were a client so I told her to drop that client.

I've been bombarded for the past month but automated or live calls from groups asking questions about politics and even mentioning Stephen Harper.

This new phone call was listed on my caller ID as "Quebec". It was an automated voice message wanting you to take a political survey and that you could win a trip to the Bahamas. If you wait long enough, it'll ask you to press "1" to take the survey or to press "9" to be removed from their calling list. I pressed "9" and the automated system said I would not be called again.

One can only hope.

Am in Toronto. 13 calls in 13 days, each from a different phone number to defeat attempts at call blocking.

This is the 'survey/free cruise" FRAUD!.  A blatant phishing scam  - attempt to get your credit card number.

Used to call Canada from US area codes. Now calling from a spoofed Montreal number, hoping Canadians will answer and be taken in.


You can google 'love boat scam" if you're interested.

Get daily calls from this number. They say they want to do a political survey. I have hung up on them at least 6 or 7 times without making a comment at all.. Who ever it is making the call please get the message. I am not interested in assisting you in any way.
