called and said they were making a sondage for hydro quebec. asked how many appliances, what kind, tvs, computers, phones...

I called back to this number 514-687-5414 and it is the AD HOC research company for surveys not marketing.

J'ai reçu des appels de ce numéro aujourd'hui.  J'ai arrêté de compter après 7.  Évidemment, ils ne laissaient pas de message.  Après 3 appels j'ai décidé de téléphoner ce numéro.  Une machine m'a répondu disant que la compagnie qui cherchait à me joindre s'appelait Addock recherche.  Ils disaient également ne pas être règlementé par la loi concernant la Liste nationale des numéros exclus étant donné qu'ils sont une compagnie de sondage. Ils disaient également qu'ils appelaient 3 fois maximum quand ils n'obtenaient pas de réponse.  Je peux confirmer que ceci est faux vu le nombre de fois qu'ils m'ont appelé aujourd'hui, même après que je leur ai laissé un message leur demandant de nous laisser tranquille et de cesser d'appeler. Quelqu'un connait-il un moyen pour mettre fin à ce harcèlemnt.
La semaine dernière c'était le numéro 514-687-5415 qui appelait tous les jours et depuis 3 jours c'est le 514-687-5414.

J'ai contacté cette Firme Ad Hoc Recherche au 1888 422-3462, ils ont retiré mon numéro de leur liste d'appel, ça devrait être fait dans un délais de 5 jours, je vous suggère d'essayer !

THEY KEEP CALLING EVEN IF I ASKED TO STOP CALLING.  I DON'T ANSWER NO SURVEYS.  THEY SAID THEY WORK FOR HYDRO QUEBEC AND THEY WANTED TO SPEAK TO AN ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON WHO LIVES AT MY ADDRESS (PHONE NUMBER) TO HAVE A SURVEY DONE WITH A ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON EVEN IF THE PERSON WHO SPOKE ON THE PHONE WAS A FRENCH PERSON ON THE LINE.  THEY WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY PERSONS LIVE IN THIS HOUSE WHAT THE INCOME IS ETC.  WHAT IS THAT FOR HYDRO QUEBEC?  HEH, WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE TO DO WITH THE ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON.  I SAID WAS NOT INTERESTED WELL THEY CALLED BACK YESTERDAY FOR ANOTHER SURVEY THIS TIME FOR HYDRO QUEBEC AGAIN.

Hi. I called the number back it is for ADHOC Researchers Survey. They call people to collect information on population and make surveys for various telemarketing firms for various products. They will call a residence up to 3 times per day at different times to try to get a hold of someone. I imagine you could either answer the survey so they stop calling, or just ignore it and they will eventually go away.

They called me every half hour starting at 8:30 a total of five times.  I think it wa because I answered their call last week, but said I had no time and to call back (though I said to call in the afternoon).  However, in this case, it was a survay for a bank I had recently dealt with.

This number calls my house everyday; spam 514-687-5414.  Please reprimand accordingly.

This number called me today (514) 687-5414 saying it was a survey for a bank, didn't ask mush personnal info but it was bizzard, he asked me if I could be a super hero what powers would I have and how would I use them. Seriously what does that have to do about banking!!!!

Ce numéro m'a appler aujourd'hui (514) 687-5414 dissant faire un sondage pour une banque, il n'a pas demander de questions personnel mais c'était bizzard, il m'a demandé si je pouvais être un super héro quels pouvoirs j'aurais et comment je m'en servirais. Sérieusement qu'es que çà a voir avec la finance!!!

Don't worry about the weird anwser... then often ask you to assist to a focus group where you get paid to give your opinion. They just want to make sure you are able to participate... I did it a couple of times... it's worth it ! But you can asked to be taken off their list.

Ce numéro m'a appelé plusieurs fois cette semaine, sans laisser de message sur le répondeur. Dernier appel dimanche le 1 aout à 19:30H.

A couple of weeks ago this number called mine five times whist I was out. I did not know the number so looked it up and found it to be telemarketers. Over the next few days got several more calls which I did not answer. Six more yesterday and I am up to seven today. Hope they give up soon. They should not be calling at all as we are on the no call list.

How do these companies get away with it and why can't we stop them?

This number calls me at different times everyday. It comes up as "Unknown Name" and never leaves a message. I have never picked up as I have an answering machine. I'm on the "Do Not Call" list but that doesn't seem to stop solicitors from calling. How do we stop them?

Tannée de recevoir plusieurs appels par jour (3 et plus) j'ai appelé au 1888 422-3462 et mon # est supposé être retoré dès 17h ce soir.. Ça reste à suivre!!

Ils ont rappelés encore à 18h12 + 20h18... J'ai rappelé au 1-888-422-3462 j'ai laissé un message et j'entame plainte à l'OPC si j,ai encore des appels demain. Je vous suggère de faire de même!!! Courage!!!
