got a call from this caller to shedule a technical test on behalf of videotron. icalled videotron they said the never deal with them and all thetest are done remotley. please be advised this could be a fraudulent company

Audjourd'hui j'ai bien confirmé, tout est possible avec l'internet.

Secret....quel est le nom de cette compagnie??? Nous avons leurs numero de telephone, mais quel est le nom REÉL de cet presumé compagnie dont vous estimé est un .rayonnement. de la companie Videotron.....ca URGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hé Secret....en passant, la compagnie .RAYONNANT. dont tu fait allusion qui eux font affaire avec VIDEOTRON , en passant ils m'ont repondu la même chose que ''GIO'', aa tu un numero de compagnie du QUÉBEC, parce que les gars ont un OSTIE d'accent AFRICAIN!!!!!!! J'ai reçu leur appel aujourd'hui, ils m'ont donné un rendez-vous pour vérifier le signal... leur numéro de compagnie est : SC-360. J'ai ensuite appelé vidéotron et ils m'ont confirmé le rendez-vous de la compagnie....

I received a call today from  514-735-2130 telling me that they need to come to my house to do some work.  I agreed but something didn't feel right because I have spoken to Videotron on the phone and they didn't sound like Videotron.  On my caller i.d. it said Videotron.  I googled the number and found this website and my suspicions were confirmed.  Thanks to all you guys for giving me the heads up.  They should put scammers like this under the prison.

Compagnie SC-360 (http://www.sc360.com/) qui dit travailler pour Vidéotron (ou fournisseur de, comme TekSavvy, etc) et qui dit vouloir réparer une interférence dans notre installation.  J'ai vu leurs camions à plusieurs reprises dans les rues. Semble légitime.  J'ai appellé le numéro sur leur site web et ils confirment que 514-735-2130 est un numéro qui leur appartient.

On me parlait d'interférence sur le cable émanant de chez moi et qui affectait mes voisins. Comme les autres ici, j'étais très sceptique au début et je croyais à une arnaque. J'ai donc appelé directement le service à la clientèle de Vidéotron et il y avait bel et bien une note à mon dossier à ce sujet. Après confirmation, j'ai pris rendez-vous et un technicien est venu en camion bien identifié pour réparer des bouts de câble et connecteurs qui étaient endommagés chez moi. Donc si vous avez des doutes, vérifiez avec Vidéotron directement en premier, mais il s'avère que c'est un appel légitime et non une arnaque.

Crazy French speaking Arab guy says we have a "signal leak" (the best my wife could translate) won't give me any specs, which, if we really did have a "signal leak" he should be able to give me the numbers.

1- the number he is calling from does not belong to videotron.  if there was a videotron signal leak, it would be videotron to deal with it, not a third-party authorized by videotron.

2- all of this can be handled remotely, no need usually for a technician to come out.

3-in the instances a technician comes out, these issues can be handled outside the residence, and a technician would never need to enter your premises or make an appointment with you.

4- if there was any issue with the equipment inside your home, videotron will either let you bring your equipment into a store front and swap it out there, or send a videotron technician out, in a videotron vehicle, never a third party.

5- if you call videotron about this matter, they will have no idea what you are talking about.  So not sure what they are trying to sell you or scare you into buying or subscribing to.

I have received a call from this company and I have verified it with the customer service from Videotron. It is indeed a company who does work for Videotron, SC 360. The customer service from Videotron seemed to be familiar to such calls and "confirmed 100%", as per his words, that this is a genuine call from a legit company. The costumer service from Videotron was actually able to see in my file that I had an appointment with them confirming the day and hour.

I checked with Videotron and they DENIED any connection to this number. They said it was DEFINITELY a fraud.

Vidéotron m'a confirmé que c'était une compagnie valide et qu'une note était à mon dossier.

C'est aussi confirmé par Videotron, c'est le numéro de SC360 un sous traitant de Videotron. Il y avait aussi une note dans mon dossier.

c'est SC360 INC (2425 BOULD PITFIELD à MONTREAL);  c est une compagnie qui fait affaire avec Vidéotron depuis plusque 15 ans (voici leur site internet : sc360.com)  dans l'installation résidentielle et les correctifs de rayonnement.
