This was one of the more bizarre robocalls we've ever received, which is saying something.

First, an automated male voice comes on and says "Thanks for taking our call."  Then, a female voice came on - either a real one or a very believable robot.  She asked, "Is <owner> there?"  I just had a bad feeling about it, so I didn't say anything.  About a 20 second pause, with what sounded like a loop of background noise (because there was a definite stop and start to it).  Every so often, she would then say, "Hellllloooo???" or "Is anyone there?".  This repeated about 7 times, along with the loop of background noise, before they hung up.

Caller ID shows U.S. Capitol.  Calls my place of work.  As soon as we answer, they hang up.
