Called and left message offering to buy my house. I wasn't trying to sell a house. I don't even own a house. Not sure why he called me. It sounded like he is calling people at random offering to buy houses.

Called our home today.  Same message description. Aas willing to pay cash right unseen.  Sounds like a scam.

Called 2nd week in March.  Said just sold a house in my neighborhood and wanted to buy another.  Would be an easy sale - cash, as is, and could even pick the move out date.  Said no need to call back if not looking to sell.

03/18/2020. Caller identified himself as Neil. He left a message around noon saying he was looking to buy a house in our area. Remainder of his message mirrored comments already posted here.

Same as all above - canned recording of a guy saying he's looking to buy in the area. Too bad you don't know my area. Don't respond.

Neil's still at it... Recorded message offering you a sudden lump sum of cash for your home (even though it's not up for sale). Actually works as scammer trying to get you to sign over asset. Beware!!

Same details as the record everyone else here got. Looks like he's calling his way through Iowa number by number.  Mine's unlisted.

Neil called me today and left the same message as above. I listened to the message and thought it strange that he was calling using an Iowa number saying he sold a house in my neighborhood of 17 homes. Don’t fall for this scam!!!

Same thing here. A recorded call of an offer to buy my house that is not for sale. No business name, no caller name. SCAM

Same as the others. Just sold a house wants to buy another. Quick sale "cash" I can pick the move out date. Lol  gee thanks. I don't get how this scam works. So if someone calls back they what? Try and get realtor fees or something? Closing costs? Would anyone fall for that really? I would think all homeowners know the process of selling/buying

Apparently this still an active issue- I just got the same call, same message today.

Well, looks like Neil wants my house too. Not sure how he got my number, his was listed as Iowa. Just because we southerners talk slower doesn’t mean we’re stupid. Nice try Junior.
