- SusieQ| 5 repliesRecieved a phone call from this number regarding "full or part time job opportunities" from Rob Parkins at Iowa Premier.
The address he gave me was 8980 Hickman Rd Suite 200 Clive IA.
I go to my job "interview" and was royally pissed. A pyramid scheme setup for the company "Symmetry Direct." Not ONE TIME was "Iowa Premier" mentioned during the scam presentation that I watched. Then they wanted me to drop up to $300 for their weekend get together they were having for some brainwashing sessions.(Similar to Amway, Quixtar, whatever.)
Just wanted to warn other people out there. Don't waste your time.- Caller: Iowa Premier
- 26Falcons replies to SusieQThanks. Got a call. Was just trying to figure out who they were.
- Brenda B replies to SusieQI just got a call from them and of course after reading the posts I'm not going. I need a real job and can't afford to go through this type of crap.
Thanks for the heads up! - B2theG replies to SusieQ| 1 replyYea, I got the same call. I googled "Iowa Premiere", but of course I got nothing. So, I googled the address and I found that the company is actually called "Shamrock United LLC". That is also where I found this site...I can't believe it's legal to scam like that...ridiculous!!
- Mackenzie replies to B2theGI just received a call from a different number about a job opportunity at that same address and the "interview is supposed to be tomorrow. I am glad I saw this.
- MEEEEEEE replies to SusieQJust got a call after they first contacted my mother and grandmother. How they got all our numbers and knew what kind of work I was interested in is beyond me.... Ditching that apt... it's pretty easy to know something is up when THEY pressure YOU into making an appointment, lame.
- AmusedI received the same call. They said they got information that I was looking for a job for extra money and asked if I currently have a job. They never specified where they got said information. I said I was a student and was interested in looking for a job (I've received calls like this before, so I was skeptical). They claimed to be into health and fitness and is an international firm and pressured me into setting up an interview. I gave a time after normal business hours and they actually said they have a presentation later than that. It amuses me, because outside of companies that rely on multi-level marketing (aka pyramid scheme-like), they don't interview after 5 or 6 pm.
I asked for the company name and said I wanted to do a bit research on the company before I commit, and the caller said that they prefer I not and that I should go to the presentation instead, because they provide a company overview. From my experience, most legit companies like it that you want to get to know the business before you actually get accepted. It shows your competence and commitment to better yourself and your understanding of company operations.
Needless-to-say, after getting the address of the interview location, I looked up the company, which revealed nothing. I than look up the phone number and lo and behold, the same phone number and interviewing location, but it seems the business name have changed. lol - ConfusedGot a call. Wondered who the heck it was and how they "knew i was looking for work". Couldn't find any info about company online. Guy said his name was Andre Kelley? Anyway I already have a job so i'm just confused as to how he got my number.

- you wonderThere was a guy named Andre Kelly that called leaving a message about "work options and if I was looking for work". It was on my cell phone number and I wondered how they got it. He called back and was asking questions if I was currently employed and what my field of work was. He started to describe the company as a marketing industry and that they work with health/nutrition. I noticed he never mentioned the name of the company either.
He told me it was difficult to explain over the phone and I should come in for an informational meeting. To me it sounded more like trying to make you come to an interview instead. I set up a time only because I was curious. I'm glad I did some more research and came across these posts so now I won't waste my time going. You know there is something odd when there's hardly any information on the company, Shamrock United, that this number is listed as. - B.S.I received a call from Andre Kelly too. Ever since I have posted my resume on career builder, I have received phishing emails and weird calls. I think career builder might something to do with it.
- LDGot a call here today for my college age son from an Andre Kelly giving this same #, now using the business name "Midwest Wellness," but otherwise sounded the same as the spiels noted above. Thought it sounded fishy, so started doing some research, on-line, found this blog. Disturbing how they get the personal information, i.e., my son's name and home phone. Maybe from some kind of post or response on Craig's List?

- sneakyMy mom told me some guy called for a job from Shamrock United. I'm glad I googled it and found these posts. On a company profile, it said they employed 1-4 workers and didn't have a website, so I knew something wasn't right. And that they changed the name several times. So, I might call them later to mess with them and get some answers out of them which I know they will avoid, but it will be funny to hear them say how it isn't a pyramid scheme.

- AmyI received a call from an Andre Kelly who wanted to speak with my sister who moved out for college a few years ago. I told him she was no longer living with us and he then asked for a number at which he could reach her, and when I refused to give it to him, he gave me this phone number and his name and asked me to have my sister call him about job opportunities he had heard she wanted. I told my sister and she informed me that she had never said she was looking for job opportunities; she looked up the phone number and found this. Glad I didn't give him her number.
- SteveThey called me today. I'm pretty sure they got my number from my careerbuilder resume. This BS. I called them back and told them to burn in hell after reading these comments. It may have been a little harsh, but the last thing I need is these pricks ripping off my grandma or something.

- RachealThey called me today. Told me that I was referred from someone and if I was still keeping my job options open. I have had the same job for 6 years, so I don't know where that came from. I made an appointment with the Lady named Abby, but after reading these I will not be going.
Thanks- Caller: Didn't say
- alarmedI got a call from Andre Kelly saying that he was from "Midwest Wellness" and they had heard I was looking for a job. He claimed that his company was located in Clive and encouraged me to go to a company site for an hour long information session. The only thing that really has changed about this from previous posts is that Andre Kelly called from a different number. 515-309-6981

- PissedGot a call from a woman named sam. Same deal as everyone else, was I keeping my options open, did I have a job etc. They called themselved Midwest Wellness and said that they were a direct marketing firm for Health and Wellness. They gave me the same address as everyone else. Glad I finally found this so I don't waste my time. Thank God for the internet.

- open-minded.| 1 replyi got the same call too, but checked it out and it wasn't a scam at all. if i listened to people who were too nervous to check it out i would've missed out on a great opportunity! i had friends who told me not to, but they are all broke and unemployed and i refused to end up that way--so chose to not listen to them. and thank God i made a choice for myself! its easy to be negative and put down on what we don't understand, i was like that too. thank goodness i changed my mind and went anyway.
- Midwest WellnessYup, Got a call too.. Midwest Wellness, of this address. Google it, get nothing. Completely rediculous. I know a guy that works there...He's dropped out of college and works for these people, moved to des moines and only lives and associates with their employees. Thank goodness i looked it up, I will not be attending.:)
- Caller: Midwest Wellness
- d.marieI am soooo glad that I looked up the address! I wanted to look up information about the company before I decided to go to the interview. "Midwest Wellness" or "Des Moines Wellness" does not exist! Looked up the same address as everyone above and got Shamrock United. I am not going to go now!
