Received a text with an odd question:  "What did you buy so many roses for last night?"  (as opposed to "Why did you...")  The thing is, I was at home last night.  I went home straight from work.  I didn't buy roses in person or online.  So mistaken phone number???  I doubt it.  More likely spam trying to hook me into responding.

The context of the question is correct, "What did you buy so many roses for last night?" and  "why" wouldn't have made sense. Could have been a wrong number, these days it is hard to believe anything thrust worthy from a stranger, even something as innocent sounding as that.  Some people use those as "starter/opener" lines to get attention to initiate a conversation.
