I've assigned all of their numbers to a silent ring tone!  Now I can totally ignore them

I keep getting calls from them.  It's Feature Films for Families.  A Christian based film company.  I bought several of their films a few years ago for my grandchildren.  I have not bought any for a few years.  I keep asking them not to call me.  I have also assigned their numbers to a silent ring tone.  They keep changing numbers.  They call from all over the country.  This was the first call from NYC.  Last week it was from Ontario, CA.  Lately it rings 1 time and they hang up.  It is soooo frustrating.  Not a good way for a "Christian" company to conduct business.

PLEASE REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR DATABASE.  I REALIZE THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT PH#'S THAT YOU USE TO CALL. PLEASE DELETE MY # FROM ALL OF THEM

I have the same thing going on. Check out the Wikipedia entry for this company and click on the "Controversies" link. We bought films from them too, asked to be removed from their list and still get 2 and 3 phone calls A DAY from them. The Wikipedia site says they have been fined and paid a settlement of $70,000 for FTC violations. They also somehow came into possession of Verizon's entire subscriber database and were making illegal telemarketing calls from that. They also violated the Do Not Call Registry regulations. For a company that promotes child-friendly products and "Christian" values, they sure behave like a snake in the grass. What I plan to do and what I recommend to everyone on this site: When you get a chance, call the 800 number listed on this page, call the company and tell them you want to be removed from their list. Tell them that you have been tracking all the numbers they have been calling from, that you are registered with the Do Not Call Registry and that if you receive one more phone call from them you are taking all your "evidence" to State Attorney General and will report them to the FTC. I'm pretty sure that will get you off their list!

These people call constintally but use different phone numbers and area codes.  AND I get these calls on my cell phone.  I thought it was illegal to make robo calls to cell phone numbers.

I told them to back off, and they did.  Make sure you are speaking with a person.

22 calls since April 23rd. I am really sick of this and how did they get my cell phone number.

As many of the responses state, I ordered movies from them over 10 years ago and all of a sudden I am now getting calls to my cell phone, and home phone which neither one I had when I originally ordered from them.  How did they get my numbers.  I have talked to them several times and told them to take my name and my numbers off of their list.  They are perssistand pains!  I wish there was a way to get it through their thick heads DO NOT CALL ME!!!!!!!

I have NEVER heard of this company let alone ordered anything from them. So it begs the question, "Why, out of the blue, should I receive their unwanted solicitations? I have identified all the numbers they've used so far, and assigned a unique ring to those numbers, since the calls began 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have read the online law suit brought forth by the FTC; however, I haven't seen a follow up as to the outcome, if it's gotten to that point.

One thing I did do after reading the lawsuit, I immediately went to the website, "Do Not Call", and registered my number.

From the entries above, speaking to them doesn't stop their bombardment of calls, so I will continue to monitor them and contact my state's Attorney General's Office if this continues beyond what I consider a reasonable timeframe (like the next week!).
