As a BUSINESS owner who has dealt with these a$$hats I can say that they give you no chance to tell them to take you off their list, they ask for the owner I say who is speaking, won't say who it is... as soon as I start to say take us off the list they hang up on me. Shouldn't matter if it's business to business or B2C.... if you're on the do not call list, you can file a complaint. Also, make sure to re-register your phone number on the do not call gov site a couple times a year. I do it every 3-4 months.

So...."Brian" calls looking for "the owner".  I can hear a female in the background reading from the same script.....I ask "which owner".  "Brian then asks for the owner by first name.  I ask twice who he is with.  You know...common practice when I pass the call to "the owner", I say Brian from scamville would like to speak with you.  He finally claims to be from the National Debit Card Network.  Girl in background....hear her saying the same things.I ask what it is regarding because our "owner" does not handle everything.  He says it's about the business debit card.  I ask which one.  Then he starts in that it is a personal matter.  Really?  Which is it???  I start to give him a hard time and he says he will call the owner on his cell.  LOL...joke is on YOU Brian.  HE is the only person left in the world without a cell phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good god I don't even own a business . I just rent a shop to work on my cars but because it's not a home they had to give me a business number . I have no idea how many scammers call about google ads and credit card crap .
i started to keep track of calls like this .
this place has called me from this number 18 times in 7 weeks . 5 times they have hung up when I picked the phone up and all the other they asked for the owner . I told them every time this is not a business and there is no owner so please remove me from the call list . they say ok and days later I get another call .
because they just don't get it this time I told them I don't want your credit card info why would you want to give me that . she said NO NO we are a processing center . my reply great but why would you want me to proses your card ? you don't even know me it's not smart to just call some one out of the blue and want them to take your credit card info . NO NO NO we proses cards ! well great then why would you call me to do it for you does your machine not work ?
she just hung up on me strange ????

I am so sick of these scammers,  here is how I handle it:  

When they call, I can see on my caller ID that it is an unknown caller, so I answer it with: "FBI Phone Fraud Division, how may I direct your call"?  They hang up immediately and then never call again...

Jared, you're a complete d*ck-hole. This number calls us every day and when I answer, no one answers back, you call that fair? You sound like the most immaculate pedophile thinking it's okay to knock on people's doors to sell yourself.

People, just block the number, and you're safe.

Received a call from this number at my business.  When I answered they didn't respond but you could hear someone was there.  They never said a word, so I finally hung up.

We have a home business, so our days off mean we still get these calls. One of the luxuries of home buz is lying in when things are not urgent. Getting these calls is intrusive. Especially when a rude child's voice snots at you for asking to let you call back at a convenient time. Now I know. Thanks.

This number showed up as 1888 on cell and my other buss line rang at the same time it then turn red into the number above called back said it was out of order?

Actually as a business owner I should not have to pay people to answer calls from annoying telemarketers. Maybe we should start charging these scumbag telemarketers for ever call they make to us? And as far as a decision maker goes, first of all the telemarketer has no idea who they are talking to on the phone and what position they hold in a company. I wish all these telemarketing companies would get shut down to tell you the truth. I am sick of my phone ringing off the hook everyday with the same garbage over and over again.
