Telemarketing call to a number long listed on the Do Not Call List from "Eastern Numismatics".... a coin dealer.

This was a telemarketing call. No appreciated.

Yep, I get 'em too.  My number has been on the "do not" list for years and I've told these clowns not to call; even reported 'em.

I finally have it figured out.  In the old days telemarketers had to buy telephone lists.  But, not now since the government gives them a huge list ... for free.  The list of course is the Do Not Call one (how else are telemarketers to know who NOT to call).  At first, the spammers honored the list until they realized that nothing is going to happen to them.  So, they started wearing the list out, and today I receive more junk phone calls than I ever did before I signed up.

If you buy anything from them they will constantly call you......I rather have spam email !!!

What I do not understand is for the couple of people that fall for this ABUSE all the other customers are so turned off they will NEVER buy from them again.....include me on that list.

It has the opposite effect....YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS NOT GAINING SALES....

The guys accent was so thick I could barely understand him. I hung up on him and blocked them, but they still keep calling but they can't get through my block caller machine. So now I put them on my *60 block, now I do not know if they call period. And as one person said I WILL ""NEVER"" BUY FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN.

I have never bought from Eastern Numismatics and never will. However, I suspect that some company I did buy from gave my number to these scum sucking slime.

As Geo said: "I have never bought from Eastern Numismatics and never will."  They call constantly and I have them on call block.  I never use to get telemarketing on my cell, now 75% of incoming calls have to be blocked, listed mostly as "unknown"  I am on national 'Do Not Call' list but seems to make no difference.

The solution is start going to your local small claims court.  File for $500/call under Federal Telemarketing Act.  If they don't show (they won't) the court will award by default in most cases.  If they do not pay you can file to have court find in contempt and attach to the company bank account or issue a warrant.  Most will settle out of court at a partial amount before court date arrives.  If you're out of work it's not a bad way to make some extra money and help us ALL out by taking away their profit margin.

Over the years, i have got calls from Eastern Num and I love their coin specials and prices. If you love coins maybe thank these guys for keeping you informed....

Some guy asked if I buy or collect gold, silver and/or rare paper money. He was extremely rude -- a total jerk.

Get a call from this number every so often.  Its a sales and telemarketing call  Most likely legit if one wishes this type on communication but I don't so I never answer or responde and willnot ever do so.  If you are the caller please take my name off your robo call list.  Thanks

Eastern Numismatics on caller ID keeps calling. I bought a coin from them over 30 years ago when I was living in another state and not at this phone number.  I am also on the do not call list since inception of that useless regulation.. The calls started in the past few months. They have been blocked and I will never buy from them again.

I had no phone call, HOWEVER I GOT A CHARGE Of $265.00 , Using  a New Credit card that had never been Confirmed. Plus I have Never been to N.Y. In my life! I How Can I Go about getting my Damn Money back? This caused several of my Bills to go UNPAID! THIS IS REAL SERIOUS STUFF, it's LARCENY/ Jail Time. And I hope the [***] is caught SOON!! GIVE IT UP IF YOU KNOW WHI THIS IS AND  Don't want to Follow them to JAIL!
