The usual computer scam.  They call themselves the "Computer Center" and claim to sell new Dell computers, no money down, no credit check.  I've gotten similar robot calls from other numbers but all seem to be from the same ambiguously named "Computer Center".

Call from 517-931-2013 at 3:30pm, Sep 26. No company name, just Michigan, which is where I've received many calls from and with a variety of phone numbers calling. They usually turn out to be telemarketers wanting to sell insurance.

I got a call from this number and the guy started to ask about my credit card that ends in ####.  I said Yes, why are you calling me at this number?  I promptly got a hang-up.

Called regarding credit card number. Told them was inconvenienced and would call them back at official number on card. Was hung up on.

Go a number of calls from this number before I finally answered it.  The guy said he wanted to give me a $50 gas card for having my VISA card with the last numbers #### for so long.  When I told him I wasn't interested he hung up.  I called my bank and reported the number to their fraud center and they said they would research it.

I received the same call this morning offering the $50 gas card and discounts on gift certificates.  They called and said that because I was a longtime visa card holder I was receiving the phone call.  I said "which card" to which they responded "it could be any of your cards with a visa logo on it".  And then I said... "click".. hung up.

I never answer calls on my cell phone that I don't know.  I'm glad I didn't know when I googled 517-931-2013 and found out it was some one trying to scam me.  Thanks all for posting this information.

Got a call from 517-931-2013. The caller wanted to give me a $50 gas card & other gifts for being a long time Master Card customer. When I told him mo thanks, he pushed and said "it's free". I told him no again & he hung up. I called the number on the back of my card & reported this as fraud.

I answered a call from this number 5179312013 and she said she wanted to give me a free 50 dollar gas card for so called usage of my visa card. I said ok, so you're calling to tell me you're sending me a free gas card and she hung up.

just got the call from these [***] today, total scam! cancel your card if you get a call form these guys!

They called me telling me they were VISA and I will be receiving a $50 gas card. But it seemed to fishy.

I got a missed call from 517-931-2013 and I called it back and I got a voice mail. Now im freaking out b/c I read all these blogs about card fraud and I really do not know which card they know. Those people suck!

3/14/2009 - received a call from this number and got the same question, if my credit card ended with this number xxxx - and I said who are you and why are you calling - they quickly hung up.

I am getting calls from this number as well, trying to confirm the last 4 numbers of my credit card. I hung up on her, but she called back and I let it go to voicemail...no message was left. When I asked who was calling, before I hung up on her, she said "Credit Lock".  It seemed fishy from the gate.

every day I get around 5 calls from this number, I dont answer but if I try to ring back its always an answer machine saying all agents are busy

I have gotten two calls over the last two weeks from these people.  The first time offering walmart gift cards and all i had to do was send one dollar.  I immediatly changed all my cards.  Then i recieved the second call and they had already gotten my new card info!!!!! They offered target cards this time for a one time charge of 6.95. I told the lady I knew it was a scam and asked her how she could sleep at night knowing she was stealing money from people?????  What a bunch of low lives.  I do a lot of online shopping but only from amazon and such.  I have no idea how they are getting my card info.  Do not fall for these scams.  Call them out on it.  Ask to be removed from caller lists and DO NOT shop online unless it is from a secure site.

Keep on getting calls even tho I have placed myself on the "do not call" list twice now.  There's never anyone on the other end of this phone call tho!
Just seems nasty, calling, and there's no one there!
