Phone rang, the number was one I did not recognize so did not pick up. Surprise surprise, no message left, rec'd variation of this number prior to this which was a recorded message asking if I wanted to lower my interest rate on credit cards.

Same thing - just now.  It originally came up as an 800 number with a recording about vehicle warranty.  When I went to block it - the 517 area code showed up.  Just happened to be on this site about other calls from the so-called "doctors group" with the 732 area code....obnoxious.  Calls coming these days all times of day and night from all manner of "800" numbers for vehicle warranties to lowering mortgage interest rates.

Tried to give a positive rating about g.m.'s post - but hit the wrong button. sorry.
