asked to speak with me, my son said I'm not home, would they like to leave a message & they hung up.

They called while I was on another call.  Answering system picked up.  They stayed on the line but left no message.  Could hear keyboard 'clicking' & talking in the background.  Probably a sales/harassment call :)

Caller ID said Troy, NY. I didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message. Blocked.

Called my cell phone at 3:40 pm.  I did not answer and no message was left.  Since this is nobody I know, I blocked the number with Google Voice.

I received a call from this number, said hello and could tell someone was on the other end, but they just hung up on me.

Called me and remained on the line after I said hello at least three times. Must be a shy scam artist.

Call ID said Troy I barely answer these calls but I don't know why I answered this time. They asked for my husband so asked "May I know who's calling him?" They asked me if I was authorized to make changes . I answered yes since they didn't want to tell me from where or who was calling. After he finally told I told him that since my husband is a superintendent that we don't receive a bill for gas or light since it's included on his job benefits. The man got upset and was enough disrespectful to called me a "LIAR" because I told him that I was authorized to make changes but that was before he told me why he was calling for. Obviously I asked to speak to his supervisor after few times asking him to speak to him he putted me on hold and came back changing him name and not hood enough to change his voice when I confronted him... He send me to HELL

Some one or company has to do something about these sewer dwellers .
Enough is enough man.

Called at a little before 4 PM EST, on a Saturday.  Denied being a government agency, this woman caller had such a thick hispanic accent that it was difficult to understand most of her double talk.  First hint of trouble was her asking for my father, whose name is still on some of my utility bills, despite his having died more than 30 years ago.  She assumed I was "the wife" and wanted to know whether I was authorized to make changes.  I never stated that I was authorized, but that didn't stop her spiel.  At first, the call seemed to be about a level payment plan for the electric bill (which is a plan that Con Ed, and probably other utility companies, actually offers,) but she denied that she was trying to get me to sign up for anything or that I would have to sign up to get this plan.  "So, you are calling to tell me about something that is going to happen to my electric bill, whether or not I sign up for it to happen?"  Yes, she said.  Well, I asked, if it is going to happen anyway, why are you asking me whether I want it?  After I wore her out on the electricity provider issue, she started to ask about my gas service.  Eventually, I again asked the name of her company and whether she was calling from a government agency.  Her communication skills were so bad that it made me wonder whether this was some kind of general training program for sales scams.

Dave, I got the exact same thing moments ago. No name. It said Troy NY.
5:10PM on a Saturday is absurd.
