I got a call from this # earlier today and they told me they were from the New York Bureau of Criminal Investigations.  They told me that I applied for a payday loan, which I never received, and said that they are going to have me arrested by my local authorities.  I have called my bank and they have no records of the deposit and they cant tell me what bank it was supposedly deposited to.  It sounds like they are trying to screw people out of money

They called several times. I have the impression they are a creditor trying to collect money. But yes, lots of threats. Jail, fines, etc.

It’s the Robocall “1 out of every 3 Americans that are over 65” will have some kind of fall—I disconnect after the quotes, because THESE guys leave messages.  One more number from these fearmongers to block.

Just received a call from this number.  I don't answer any calls that I don't know who they are and I have blocked them.

Medical alarm for seniors scam today from this number - Colonie NY

just received call and they left a voice mail.  It's for a medical alarm device.

Left a voicemail about a free medical alarm device.

They called, Left no message. BLOCKED now.

Called just before 6:00 pm.  Caller ID listed "Medical Alarms."  Left a robocall message that begins . . ."one out of every 5 Americans . . ."  We have had this message left on our voicemail so many times that I can't keep count.  This bunch  seems to be "headquartered" in New York state and uses multiple phone numbers, multiple caller IDs,  and calls multiple times.  . . . Ignore it.  It's a crap call.

Heard “this is the security department” and then it disconnected. I had just made an unusual purchase so it could have been cars security, but these other reports might indicate something else. PAETEC is a low-end business DSL/voip provider.

Todd, the robot called to tell me my 'wellness package' is ready to be shipped.
I don't even know what a wellness package is, let alone order one. lol.
