Robo-dialer for offices of Copeland and Higgins - a collection company.  They keep leaving voicemails for someone that has never had my phone number.

6 months ago got several calls from 5183124632 returned call frm voice mail, they harassed me until convinced was wrng number then said they would remove me from there list yeay, 1 month and calls started again, and has been ever since totally unprofessional and rude they need someone who can speak english to record their message instead of the nasally slurring brooklyn draw with an uneducated southerntwang/ i have no teeth grunt garble, so people can return the calls and get off their list unfortunately i think they believe whoever calls back is the credit skipper they're looking for. Do they really think they can threaten a career non payer into calling them through some unknown number that was given them on the skippers application what morons, they are bigger morons than those who give credit to someone who is broke unemployed uneducated, and lets not even call the number they put down at the time of application, but be totally surprised they lied , nuff said

keep getting recorded messages for someone who does not live here ... they call before 8am.  I am a senior citizen and do not appreciate this.

Received a call from 518-312-4632 and showed on Caller ID as C and H Associates.  They asked for my niece who does not live with me, not in same state or that I maintain very little contact with.  They said my number was given as an Emergency number which I know my sister would not use my number as such or for that matter my number for anything.  When I asked what the emergency is, they said they could not tell me but asked me to have her call, which having dealt with similar type caller before, clued be.  I said she was not at this number and that I doubted what they were telling me and if it was an emergency they need to let me know so I could pass on such.  They said it was concerning a Felony Fraud case (i.e. the second lie).  Right then and there I said I would not contact her due to they were not speaking the truth and I believed that they were misleading me and just trying to take a shot that I would contact her.  I also said that I highly doubted that my number was listed as an emergency number by my sister (she has much closer family members in the area).

Beware when some calls you about someone you may know such as family or friends and says they are trying to get a hold of such for an emergency but will not give some basic details, and even more so if they indicate it has anything to do with an arrest of Felony.  Legal firms do not do so for legit Felonies, LEO does and they will find the person especially one so easy as say my sister, who lives at the same address as she has for many years, works for the same company for many year, etc.

Just leaches trying to get a hold of someone that ignores them or is done dealing with them for many times what they are seeking was taken care of or not legit.  Regardless not my concern if they have legit purpose (most do not) and if there is some type of Felony committed, they need to go through the proper authorities such as LEO and courts.

Most part, they are just leaches and taking a shot that when they call third party and use certain words (Emergency, Felony, etc), that the person will give them what they seek.  Have found out from previous experience of the same, that the person they were trying to contact had issue taken care of with first parties and in the case of one, it was a total mistake in the first place.

I just had a frantic phone call from my mother saying that a legal office just called her and said i missed court and would have a warrant issued for me for a felony fraud charge. When i called these people back to find out what was going on, it turns out that they were trying to collect on a check that was written four years ago. That check was paid years ago. They couldn't provide me with any details nor could they answer any of my questions with a straight answer. These people are a collection company that tries to scare people into giving them money that they may or may not even owe. They are rude, unproffessional and will use any means they can to try to convince you to give them money. Don't even speak to these people because they will inadvertantly get information from you that you don't intend to give them. They lied on the phone to my parents and myself multiple times. They called my parents house about an address i haven't lived at in years when i am fully listed with current phone and address. These people are the ones who should be facing criminal charges.

I have received several phone calls over the last 6 months from C & H and a different company in LA regarding a debt to Ace Cash Co.  I have repeatedly asked for proof of debt and have not gotten it.  They are now saying if I don't pay 2,158 by 11 am today it goes on "the docket".  They are harrassing my ex-husband at his house trying to find me.  I have been trying to get rid of these people for 6 months.  I have turned them into the Attorney General in my state and to the FTC.  They seem to disappear for awhile then they reappear in a different state with a different phone number but same debt.  This is ridiculous.  DO NOT give these people any of your personal financial information.  They have been threatening me for months with court action and nothing has ever happened.  I keep trying to ignor them, but it is so frustrating that I cannot get rid of them!!!

got a call saying my husband was listed as an emergency contact for an individual and they needed him to call them if he knew where she was.  Never heard of the individual and he mispronounced our name, so figured it wasn't on the up and up.  Also, he came off as a lawyer but the language he used was definitely not that of an attorney.  Said his name was Mr. Davenport.
