6 Apr 2016, 2:45pm, This is a new scammer number from Albany, New York. I have already blocked this area code with my CPR blocker. I have no friends, family, or business contacts in this area code. I currently have 112 actual or fake area codes blocked because of U.S. or offshore scammers using actual/relay phone centers in these area codes. I have reduced my scammer calls by 2/3 since installing my blocker. Hopefully they will all give up trying to call me. Get a call blocker!

"We are retuning your call about a medical device covered by Medicare."   Press 1 to talk to a representative or press 2 to cancel call back". Pressing 2 connects you to a male voice that responds with "hello".    Requesting to be removed from their call list causes this jerk to slam down the telephone. This is a scam!

Called no message.  Checked the # on this site to validate what I thought, a scam, telemarketer.

They are using the " returning your call" to circumvent the law. Other # 646-217-4851 and 646-257-3583.  To John Paul, I have not answer my phone for 5 yrs now and also have a call blocker. As of today 105 calls block. They are to stupid to give up.

Someone posted elsewhere, and kudos to them for realizing this...that they became inundated with spam calls shortly after signing up for (or forceably being signed onto) whatever "patient portal" online website a doctor or hospital has so you can check your test results, appointment reminders, red their stupid newsletter stuff, search for a doctor, read your after visit summaries and such.  i have a land line that is unlisted and a cell phone that only my 2 doctors have and my mom.   i recently had my gall bladder taken out and this was my first experience into this health care behemoth.

maybe 2 weeks after this and getting my "patient portal" code for my Web page and told to go sign in and isnt all this great, i am so buried in spam calls and nonstop Robo-- rings, 1 ring calls, calls saying i owe money, texts for goofy stuff from numberd that arent even numbers.

the hospital assured me they dont sell my info but its staffed by a passel of who knows who typing all your personal biz and theyre making minimum wage. lot of money selling lists to marketers or a nice side job.

why isnt SCAM an option on the "call type" drop down menu on this page?????why cant we call them what it is?

Called and blocked with my CPR Blocker V.202   Trish I assume John Paul has this model as well   It is best bang for the buck. I have 138 numbers blocked by me already. Came in handy during presidential primary robo calls. Check out Amazon for prices and features. Get your life back and enjoy the fun of the scum calling you back and seeing the caller ID show but no phone ring or any other evidence.

This scumbag recording says that it's returning the call that I placed when I saw on tv about back brace! My gosh! I hung up immediately and didn't want to hear about what company it was. Block them!

DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE UNLESS YOU ARE SURE IT IS SOMEBODY YOU REALLY WANT TO TALK TO!!!!  Every article I have read about dealing with scammers says don't answer the phone or you will get even more calls.  If you do pick up a scam call report to the FTC (FTC.gov) NOT the FCC.  The FTC won't do anything unless they get A LOT of complaints.  Ask the presidential candidates what they are going to do about these UN-IMPORTANT NOBODIES WHO NEED TO BE PUT DOWN LIKE DESTRUCTIVE ANIMALS.

The government can't block phone calls - your phone company has to do it just like your ISP blocks spam email. Complain to your phone company and tell them to spend the money to get it done.

Got one (CPR) and you are right, best thing since sliced bread.  Scammers wither up and die.

I hope they give up trying to call you. I have been getting these calls for over 10 years, they will try and try until they find a new way in. The do not call list is a joke, and if these people put the effort into working job as they do with these scams, they probably be living comfortably.
