Answered phone and got a recording telling me it was a requested call back about back braces. Never have requested any call backs or info on back braces anywhere at anytime. This is definitely a SCAM caller.

Have called before using different numbers from the Albany, NY area.  I usually let it go to voice mail, but this time I answered and it was a recording about a call back for a back brace that I requested.  I NEVER requested such a thing..so I would say this is definitely a scam call.  Just wish they would all give up already.!!

I answered just to fool the scamming bastads into giving me info which i then turned in to the feds. take that you POS scamming criminals!

I had not received any recent calls from 218-312-1980, but today another call came in from that number, I did not answer the call because I remembered the number from the past. How can anyone stop these harassment.

Why doesn't my machine block these calls?  I called back, got the recording, "If you would like to have your number removed from our call list, press "1"."  I have a NON-PUBLISHED NUMBER!  And, I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST!  I get TONS of these calls.  Why should they even be getting through?  The only information my machine gives me is number and location.  I want this loophole corrected!

I received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Appears to be a telemarketer.

Jnin27, your machine, or phone, has to have the call block feature to stop the calls. I use a Panasonic, can block up to 250 numbers. Next time this number calls, they will hear one short ring then silence. It will be listed on my Caller ID clearly as blocked. Pushing that "1" as the caller instructs: BIG MISTAKE! You proved your own number works, so now they include it when they sell their lists to other scammers. And since they use robot calling, every number in sequence, your number is same as published numbers -- Not being listed in a phone book only stops somebody who knows you from looking up your number. It will never stop any scammer; they don't have human beings sitting there dialing by hand one number after another. You need to understand how technology works because so far, you have done ZERO to stop unwanted calls.

Received first call, from this number, on 11/24/15, at 9:11AM, EST.  No message left, after I didn't answer.  No call since.  CID=Albany, NY.

Message left on my Mother's answering machine. From:Agent Paul Moore, Federal Trade Commission, requesting urgent callback to discuss investment accounts opened in her name. The Callback# 518-312-4920. I did not call back as the posts show that it is obviously either a phishing attempt or an attempt to get SSN# and other identity theft info

This scammer is now claiming to be the United States Law Enforcement Agency!  There is no such agency. Reported to ALL REAL federal law enforcement  agencies.

Constant VM from this caller, with 2 different phone numbers, 518-312-4920 and 818-577-1800, they do not leave their name

Received call from this number.  When I answered it was a recording from  Apple Support stating my I"cloud account has had unusual activity". Did not sound correct to me so searched the number and appears to be Scam number.
