been getting calls from this number once a day on cellphone, haven't answered it... going to block the calls from Verizon's site. Don't want to call back with my phone either... Any idea what it is?

I have received a call from this number for the past three days. I didn't hear the phone ring so I didn't answer. Anyone know who it is?  It is coming from somewhere Near Albany New York?

I've gotten 3 calls over the past few days.  I haven't answered it.

Called back the number from a work phone, got a recording: it said it was loyalty rewards, something about a site I visited in the past. Sounds bogus to me...

Today 05/13/2011 my cell phone rang showing the number 518-649-8889. I did not answer it.
The caller left no message.

this is a # for loyalty rewards.  If you press "2" you will be added to their internal do not call list

It is a scam. They want your credit card number. Beware.

have been getting bogus calls from 518 lately, didn't answer. Isn't it illegal for telemarketers to call cells?
When I did answer one, it was a computerized voice saying my credit card was eligle for lower interest rate or some other nonsense.

I recieved the call. Very easy to block. Just go to Verizon web site and put the number in blocked calls!

I answered after the 10th time they called. It said I they were from a rewards program & I had recently went to one of their affiliated companies website and they wanted me to take an online shopping survey to get a $50 Walmart gift card.....or I could press 2 to be removed from their list, I pressed 2.

I got a call today.  They have promised  to eliminate my "credit card debt". I did not answer.

Called from this number today as well. Not a phone call per se... no message just a ring and number in my call list. Probably another cheap money scam or car salesman. I thought there was a national "do not call" registry and rule or are the same old sleaze at it again !?

Got a call from this # on my cell for the past 5 days. Did not answer and no message was left. Don't know why call is getting through, I had put my cell # on do not call list

I have received 1 - 2 calls from this number per week for the past three weeks.
My cell-phone rings three times then the call is dropped.
No voice-message is ever left and when I have caught the call before "hang-up", there is dead-air on the other end.

Today I called the number back and got the "Royalty Rewards" message.
"$50 gift-card is waiting for you if you answer the survey questions"
I opted to be put on the do-not-call-list by pressing 2 when prompted.
The resulting message says I'll be off their call-list in 5 business days, but I won't hold my breath.

That's interesting...my cell phone has been on the Do Not Call Registry since March of 2011 and I received the same call. No message left, but I'm so sick of scammers and people bugging me to make a buck, I could scream. I filed a complaint...figured it couldn't hurt.

I've been calls on my cell from these jerks for weeks, I have not answered. They never leave messages. It is really annoying. I'd really like to get the cell # to whomever is behind this crap.
