calls but no one there...when try to call back constantly busy...land line from Rennselaer NY

Received calls from this number. When I call back I get no answer. I do not know anyone at this number.

Just received a call from this number 7:15 PM 10/3/10,  Did no leave amessage.  I am thinking it might have to do with elections....from the Albany NY area.

I picked up tonight as it was the third time they had called in two days. It was about the elections and doing a survey. I hung up and didn't catch the whole thing. It was a pre-recorded message. But it was a survey about the NY Governor election.

called today around 12 noon.. i said hello.. quiet no response .. then they hung up.

I said hello, they hung up. Hey, thanks for calling!

got a call @ 7:57pm fri oct 8 . said hello 6-8 times and could here someone there and then the hang-up..... very disgusted with people like this (even if it is election people that doesn't say much for the people we vote for to run our gov so why vote???

called last night around 7  oct 9. If it is political I wish they would have stayed on like to give them a piece of my mind, on my dime most likely

It's from Cuomo's campaign.  They want to know if you plan to vote.  The more people that plan to vote, the lower their margin.

I hung up after hearing "do you plan to vote....." Thx for the info that the call is from Cuomo's campaign. If I were planning to vote for him (which I'm not), the automated message would have changed my mind. I find these types of calls very rude, even more rude to contact me on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON!!

I did not pick up because I did not recognize the number. They hung up when the answering machine started. Lots of nerve calling on Sunday.

They called our house several times, when we answer they seem to hang up, this confirms it's Albany politicians......do nothing [***]!

I`ve had numerous calls from this number also.I do not pick up when only a number is given.So this number is trying to gin up support for Andrew CUOMO? The Attorney General is stooping to this underhanded tactic to con me into voting for him. No thanks, Andy!

It was for political crap from Albany.  It is a pre-recorded message and call all the time.  I stopped answering the phone now that I know it is a political call.  You never hear anything at all from your politicians, but now that it is election time they are constantly calling you.  They are absolutely worthless human beings.

P.S. to my earlier post: Opinions posted at the New York Times Complaint Box for Robocalls site will likely get good exposure. http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/30/spam-when-the-in-box-is-my-ear/  All commenters at that site find automated messages invasive, annoying, and many refuse to vote for candidates who generate them. Also found that NYS exempts political parties and committees from the DO NOT CALL list. Figures!!

Received a call today from this number at 130pm. Of course, I was at work but now knowing what the number is, I will not answer the phone. Phuck these politicos - they can kiss my white [***] !!!
