Called this afternoon. Caller ID said "Private Name" and the number. No message left (like, "Sorry--wrong number," would be nice.)

Yes, again. Got a phone call tonight--a Sunday!!--and because I didn't know the number and it said "Private Caller," I didn't answer. No message, of course. But I keep just an ordinary word-processing file for keeping track of the various unwanted calls we get, along with any comments I may have found useful, and sure enough, with a simple CTRL-Find, I found the number that I had put into the file in August, along with a comment I had found from "Sue" on www.whocallsme.com. And now there were a couple of other posts there. So I knew I had done well tonight by not answering.
I suspect they think we'll answer the phone because it's a Sunday night, and one doesn't expect these kinds of calls at this time. I posted on www.whocallsme.com but wanted to post here as well, because I think the more info we can get out there, the better.

I notice the date for my message a few moments ago is February 24th. However, it's still Sunday, the 23rd where I am (don't know where 800Notes is), and I think that's important. Monday @ 8:00 p.m. is bad enough, but Sunday calls really frost me.
