- Pkarr01I came home from work and found a message. from 518-688-0578..to call at x315-Kristi. Did a search and ended up here...posted my resume online but could not imagine being called so soon especially since my job history is far from what any "group" would have interest in. Whew! glad I found this site.

- SamanthaGot a call from this number and they left a message saying that they were from "Marine Fertility Group" and that they are responding to the application I filled out online with them... I never filled out an application, but I got the call right after signing up for Monster.com
- Caller: Marine Fertility Group?

- LuvonThanks for the Info! Just got a call today...I don't think it's a scam but I believe that selling life insurance at this point in our local economy would be very hard.
This would be the main reason they have so many job opening as they can't keep the ones they hire do to being paid full commission and no sales.
Happy Job Hunting!- Caller: Oldham-Bianchi Group
- lady barbaraI have also received a call from this company. I did not spend 4 years of my life in college to sell life insurance. This company is legit, but selling anything in this economy is hard enough let alone insurance. I don't know about anyone else, but i need a weekly pay check that is not at 10.00 dollars an hr. plus. This is not a job for me. Good luck to anyone else who wants it.

- BuffalonianI got a call from 716-783-8019, Dustin Snyder, who said he is with Oldham Bianchi Agency.
He said the company saw my resume on Career Builder and wants to talk to me about "a position". I do have my resume posted on Career Builder, but why wouldn't he name the position his company wants to fill?
My resume says *absolutely nothing* about having worked in sales or wanting to work in sales; it also does not mention the insurance industry. Why would my resume look good enough to this company?
More importantly, what legitimate company makes calls looking for potential employees *on Sunday* ???- Caller: Oldham Bianchi
- BuffalonianI forgot to mention: when I Googled 716-783-8019, I found that the number is registered to a "Gary Tucker". Oldham Bianchi may be a legit company, but they have too many questionable practices for me to feel comfortable with them.

- Falonia replies to JessicaAre you still with the company? And how is it?
- RochesterI got a message from someone called Dana from the Oldham Bianchi Resource Group. I returned her call and left a message, but I have no experience in sales or insurance and not sure why they think I would be interested in this. Did a Google search and found this site. Thank God. Going to definitely pass on this.

- PuggleMy husband's union hooked up with this company to offer their members a free $4k accident benefit. I figured there had to be a catch when I filled the enrollment card out. They used the enrollment card for the accident benefit as a lead to call and try to set up an appt to set up a life insurance policy, under the guise of needing to witness paperwork being signed, rather than just sending it. I said no thanks. The guy said he would be in my area but then needed to know how to get to my house from Albany, which is way out of his way and would need to be pretty beneficial to him to come all the way here from Albany.
- A.J.Received call from this number about an interview. Turns out to be Oldham-Bianchi Group which is an agent for National Income Life. Their agents sell income-loss insurance to union members (the agents are all union members too) - this is where their leads come from. You would not be an employee - you would be a licensed agent - and your pay is based on what you sell (i.e., commissions) and bonuses, etc. The comp structure is almost like a Ponzi scheme, but may be typical for insurance agents and their managers (I don't know).
Go for the interview and see for yourself. It is a group discussion (you and several other unemployed souls) led by a sharp office manager describing who they are, how they do it, how they pay, and what you pay. To work here, you first must be NYS licensed. You pay a local school $400+ for a course and about $100 to NYS BEFORE you get trained and can make a dime. If you think it is for you, stay for the one-on-one with the manager. If not, leave - no cost or obligation. Not sure how saleable product is in this economy. The example premiums they use are $15 per week, but a) that's $60. a month - what hardworking union grunt has that to toss around at "what if's"? and b) is not the same for an unhealthy chain-smoking older union grunt. Oh, and unions are losing members nationwide. My impression - like selling ice cubes to eskimos unless you are one darn good salesperson!- Caller: Oldham Bianchi Group

- MarlenaThis number called me too...set me up for some sales mgt training for next week. My husband and I have lost our jobs and have been online posting resumes everywhere. Couldn't remember company name so I looked up number on Spokeo...glad I came across this chat. I'm not going and I guess I will have to be more careful ! Preying on ppl in desperate times...shame on them !
- KevinGot a call from them today. Could barely understand the girl on the phone.
After reading these reviews, it doesn't sound like a company I would want to work with.
Also, after going to their website I clicked the News link and it started to download a video without my permission...nice eh?
Anyways, they said they got my Resume from Monster which it is on there.- Caller: Oldham Bianchi Group

- Niskymom replies to Farnsboroughhmmm isn't THAT interesting. I believe you are on Western Avenue, and I was also advised by Lori, who miraculously is also at ext. 315 that you have Mr. Reid, that you have your own website, other than the Rochester one. No you don't you put your info on top of theirs. Nowhere is your office listed in their website, and no jobs are listed for this area. Also, where in my résumé (predominately Administrative Assistant Experience) it indicated that I would be a good candidate for a financial advisor straight commission, she backpeddled and couldn't give me a straight answer. told her to call me back when they had an Administrative Assistant position available...when I did a reverse look up for number, it comes up empty. hmmmmm.
