An attourney for Cashnet is calling stating that I have an unpaid payday loan from 2008.  They claim on the day they call me that I only have until 5:30pm today or they are filing Federal Wire Fraud, Internet Fraud and Banking Fraud charges against me.

Here is the worst part, I found out about this through family.  They actually contacted a family member of mine stating I had committed bank fraud on a payday loan.  

Of course I had not applied for a payday loan and checked my banking statements to make sure my information had not been compromised in the past.  No transfer into my account by a cashnet, after the threats of arresting me by 5:30 today when I had evidence that there was no such loan in my name, I figured this was a fraud.

They were convincing, DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME!!!   it is a fraud!!

They called me and stated that I needed to Hire an attorney to recieve any paperwork regarding charges that were being pressed against me by a payday company.

They would not send the paperwork directly to me even though I was able to update by mailing address and give them a fax number.

i had the exact phone call from CBI from the exact same ph number , they called one of my friends i listed as a reference, calls also from UNKNOW number wants me to hire an attorney and says i am being procescuted with 3 charges including banking fraud. last time i spoke w/ someone with heavy accent ( sound indian) paul white, they told me the sheriff in my county willl be at my door or employer within 48 hrs.  i guess we will wait and see.

They JUST CALLED ME SAYING THEY WERE COLLECTING A PAY LOAN DEBT. IVE NEVER TAKEN A PAY LOAN. I CALLED BACK AND TOLD THEM THAT I WAS GOING TO SUE THEM AND INCLUDE EVERYONE THAT THEY HAD BEEN HARASSING THAT I COULD GET INFO FROM. THEY HUNG UP SOOO FAST. I CALLED AGAIN AND LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY MIGHT BE ABLE  TO PULL THAT CRAP IN THEIR COUNTRY-BUT HERE IN THE US IT WASN'T GONNA FLY. [***]!!!!!!!!

My bad- i forgot to add that when i called them back they tried to say the  company was the burea of crime? seriously? thats the best they could come up with i guess.

Received a call today May 19, 2010 from 518-712-4313, person spoke very broken English.  Said his name was Nick Williamson.  Caller asked for my husband by name, when I advised him he was at work he asked when he would return.  He left the above referenced phone number.  I asked what it was regarding and he said my husbands name was put down as a reference by his brother.  Caller stated their was a legal case against my husbands brother.  Call ended, the Nick called back immediately again, but I could not understand him...I hung up.  I keyed this phone in on Google and found all kinds of surprises!

I just recieved a phone call at work from a man named Paul White saying that they have an allegation case against me and that if I did not return his phone call by 6:30 p the sheriff office would be picking me up at work or at my home tomorrow for bank fraud on a payday loan.  I don't have a payday loan.  This guy had some kind of Indian accent too.

My mother just received a call from this number stating that I am being investigated for fraud, etc.  This is getting really old, this is not the first time I have been subject to this.  I have reported them to the local sheriff's office and the FBI before.  How do you make it stop?  Any suggestions?

Unfortunatly I have been dealing with these stupid people for a month. Even after thinking I had an attorney, and me informing them my husband is a police officer they still bug me, and have called my family and friends. My best suggestion for you is to inform them you will not ever send them any money, and then just ignore them. It sucks, I know, it's very aggrivating, but what can ya do.

If there was a way to sue them, I would totally jump on that wagon with you.
