Called my boss's number and asked for him by name (without saying who she was). Hung up when I said he wasn't in.

Called cell phone around 11:00am - left no message.  Only said New York call on the caller ID.

Caller called for our HR Director, he did not identify himself until asked. I put him on hold and Googled them with scam after their name they are listed on Rip Off Report.  After reading the report, I told him our HR Director wasn't interested and he hung up.

Received a call on home office system, from this number.  No message left.  It is Corporate Management Group of Troy, NY.  Apparently, they are marketing their services to companies in regards, to sales and marketing, research, etc.  A search on Google brings up their website, when searching by phone number alone, so the firm is not trying to hide themselves. Call received 9:40 AM, no message left, our office was attended at the time of the call.  This is the first time this firm has attempted to contact us.

Call and did not leave message.  I called back and they answered "Corporate Managment Group"

Called at 5:40 am..... Too EARLY and left no message.

They wanted to sell me some legal books.  Aspen Publishing.  Where I used to work, they would deliver the books and manuals, charge 3 times what it really should cost the average user.  They ended up returning the box.  Don't fall for this scam.

Message left was just babbling noises (mostly distant, multiple voices of a call center).  What words were loader made no sense, was as if he (of asian Indian decent) had no idea he was being recorded.

They call several times a day, everyday. I never answer. They never leave a message.

Called and asked for our CFO. Said she was from Aspen Publishers, and wanted him to sign off on our "30 day review" of one of their manuals.  It was very challenging to get any kind of clear message from her that I could deliver to the appropriate person; I suspect that they want to send you this literature and then bill you for it.

I received one call from this # on September 26, two calls on September 28 - did not leave message.

Wow...how unprofessional are they?

Caller ID says CORPORATE MGT.  I picked up and there was the obligatory silence that indicated a boiler room call.  I was typing an email and was fine putting the call on speaker so I could find out the nature of this scam.

Eventually some broad got on the phone and asked "Is this Bob?"

Who's calling, I asked?

She said her name (escapes me) and said she was calling from something that sounded like "Walter's Cooler."

Me: "Walter's Cooler?  What is that"?

She: Small Business....mumbling that I couldn't understand.

I told her to hold and then hung up on her.

WTF?

Called and asked for our CPA. She said she couldn't leave a message and asked me if it would be ok to call later. Sounds like a scam because she asked me if its ok to call back. If you are going to call back, you just do it, you don't need permission. If she calls back, I will tell her we are not interested. ANNOYING.

Received a call. i didn't recognize the number so didn't pick up. No message left.
