Get the name of the company as well as the person's name, record the time etc so you can report them to the CRTC.

Do not call. We are not interested in whatever you are selling!!!

This is supposedly some credit card help you out of debt company .. Press 1 or 2 for help or to not be contacted again NOT .. who the heck would press any number for anything!  Tried to call back many times and get a busy signal .. DO NOT Want them calling me at all and certainly not like they are at about on average of twice a day!

I don't mind when I get wrong number calls .. have even on many occasions been able to give the correct number to the local pub for which my number is mistaken at 1, 2 and 3 am .. have had a Texas inmate phone looking for a buddy,  kids wonderinfg if my fridge was running only to let me know it just went past their place.  Which gave me a good laugh remembering my own childhood pranks while on a party line.  

However,  I do have a problem with any company who is phoning me repeatedly with an offer for unwelcome help.  If by any chance I ever get myself in a financial mess I belong to a bank .. I will seek their advice.  If anyone else has need to contact me in the business world .. I have a postal box to which they can direct the kind offers of help.

My 98 year old grandmother lived alone and was trusting!  She believed that people were like her and spoke to some wonderful helpful person who stole from her.. So, it is the rule in my family that any law abiding company that wants to offer anything to us can send it in the postal mail or leave a name and contact number so I can check them out with the Government agencies then call them back when it is good for me.

I have a house number and a phone number and with both of them I choose who enters my space and this search was to see if others were being bothered by the same number.  I dn`t think you have to read the posts.

An organization calling themselves "Consumer Debt Advocates" called me in Canada pretending to be a Canadian company and claiming debt services.
However, I am on the Canadian No-Call list, and they have no right to call me.
I tried to find out from the "supervisor" where they got my number, but she had no answers. She claimed that I entered some contest and got on their list that way, but asking where that info came from was to no avail.
I explained to her that anyone could enter my name and phone number in a contest they knew to be illegitimate in order to harrass me, and that I required her help in order to vindicate them of wrongdoing.
She still couldn't help, and I don't believe her story anyway, so I believe I now have grounds to sue "Consumer Debt Advocates" for harrassment.
What a way to settle my debts!
Their phone number comes up as "Ontario" 519-285-4356.
Total scam company.

Keep getting these calls, 11am, then 1pm.....  Had enough interuption..

Really annoyed, rec'd a call at 11:30 at night, another at 6 the next morning.

You know what, I ignore these calls and I've been blocking them. However, the service only allows so many blocked numbers. Why should I have to pay to stop this BS? I am on the Do Not Call List.

I'm not feeling threatened or worried - I'm just sick of being pestered! Maybe you enjoy having your phone ringing at all hours, but the rest of us don't. And just for the record, my bills are all up-to-date.

I pay for this phone line, not the scammers and telemarketers. It is for my convenience, not theirs and not yours. You wanna offer me something, it better damn well be free; otherwise it's solicitation and I'm on the DNCL - it's the LAW. Just because you work for some sleeze corporation that is getting away with it doesn't make it right, or anything we should have to tolerate.

No msg left. No number displayed on phone. Answering machine had #.

I stopped the calls with a Panasonic phone with callblock. Once the number is blocked ,the phone will ring once and the display will say blocked call. They will get a busy signal and the line will go dead. Phone company could not block the calls, but these phones work great. You will still hear one ring, but it is a lot less annoying.

Got a call, May 31 at 2:13pm. Errors on your Windows Computer. Pay us $39.95 for our services and we'll fix your PC. Had some choice words for them. Ten minutes later PC crashed. Might be a coincidence but I have my doubts.

Called and left no message

I'm with Intelligent being and Val. I'm sick of being pestered by these kinds of calls. I too belong to a bank, if I need any kind of advice, help, obviously I'm going to use a safe place to go to for help and not from a market call.

I find myself constantly checking numbers found on my call display on this site, and I find it to be of the utmost help.  I thank you all for your help and I will start to do the same...... and Intelligent Being is from space because I agree with the rest of you, ridiculous.  Why you bothered to even post is beyond me.Get a decent hobby.

I just got a call from this number as well. I happened to pick it up to screen the call well they were supposed to be leaving a message because the number didn't look familar. No msg was left soo annoying and inconsiderate. I am tired of getting these calls as well they're just a waste of time!
