I've had to shut down my mobile phone and move the number to an Internet phone company, voip[.]ms, who then forward it to jollyrogertelephone[.]com which answers as a robotic female pretending to be a real person. Why? Repeated calls from fly-by-night bill collectors with whom I have no legitimate dealings and to whom I own nothing.

Presumably "virgin plus" is a front for Bell Canada mobile, who should know better than to give personally identifiable info to sleaze who threaten "Ma'am, the calls will continue until the issue is resolved" when the only legit way to "resolve" these calls is to put the person making the calls into prison where they have no access to a telephone.

The calls have been coming in from various numbers in various Ontario area codes, but it's the same scum behind all of it. I've had the number for five years:
