Called and offered a deal on a trip to Cancun. I said that my phone registered on the national DNC list. I did not even finish the sentence when the guy hung up.

no message--hung up when my machine answered.

Automated message that "this is a 'limited time offer'" and that I should press '1' to speak with a rep or '2' to be removed.

No message. Hung up when my machine answered.

a recording came on saying it was "urgent I call" them to speak with them about my credit.  (nothing is wrong with my credit) I am on the do not call list as well, so I don't know why they would be calling my home phone.  I am sure it is a scam.

scam call.  wanted to know about my credit.  IT is a recording urging you to call them about your credit.

Just got the call. I pressed #1 to speak to someone and of course, I was disconnected.  They don't say what credit card company.

Just got called by them.  They treid to disguise their number and it came us as 529-982-873567

3/20/07 No message.  Caller ID picks up a tricky number.

Can't Attorney General's office stop this scam?

caller id picked up 529-982-8735 didn't answer bc of suscpicion of another possible scam claiming they can 'fix' student loan debt. thought it might be them but no message.

called but left no message.

the number came up on my phone as +1529982873537, i know that this number is not from the United States, it is out of the country

529-982-8735 came up as "name unavailable." When I picked up, an auto message came on saying "Hi this is Lisa from Cancun vacation."

I see that area code 529 is NOT a normal use code....it seems it is a temporary use one.  So if it a temp and they are calling, it must be important...right?!

Didn't pick up because it has way too many numbers to be a regular phone number. Got the answering machine and they hung up.

Didn't pick up because it was an unfamiliar area code and had way too many number to be a regular caller.  I called the number back and the message I got was that the number I dialed was invalid.  I am thankful for sites such as these.

Call with recording for Cancun vacation. It asked me to press 9. When I did, a man with a thick middle eastern accent answered. He asked if I wanted more information about the Cancun trip, and I replied yes. I then asked the name of the company and he said something unintelligeable (London L--something?)and when I asked him to repeat it he hung up.
