Called my work number at 1:12am. Left no message in voicemail. Looks like an automated call system in California.

Same here....soooooo aggravating!

I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks during the day.  Last night and the night before I received multiple calls. I have been receiving up to 9 calls in a 24 hour period. How do we stop it? It is only getting worse.

Same with me.  this is BS....getting up to 15 calls per week from various area codes, including this number.  I heard they are automated to see how long you will stay on the phone after answering.  The longer you stay on the line, the more valuable your number becomes when they sell it to marketing spammers.  Real nice, they will never stop.

I have been trying to figure out where all of the random numbers that when you answer you only get silence have been calling from.  Here is where I am at (thanks Ad) they are all coming from an 888# that forwards to my cell phone.  They call in the middle of the night and leave long messages that burn up my 888 minutes.  Seems like a way to make money by having bots call the 800#'s and use extra minutes and in turn charge you more money.  WORST PART...DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP IT!!! Numbers change all the time, calling back leads to busy signals and googling the #'s lead no where.  Here is my list of #'s that call me in September ONLY....none of the calls are from people and they totaled about 60 minutes of wasted minutes I PAY FOR.

Same thing received calls all day and night, no person on the other end, but this one had music playing.  I get them in the middle of the night and it is not good as I have kids in another city and wake up to answer the call. It must be some new way for bottom eaters to make a buck and we all must pay for it with bogus calls all day and night.
