Caller ID 'Stafford VA'.  I answered the third time calling today.   Offering a 3 year subscription to Better Home & Gardens magazine.

Don't know anyone in Stafford VA.  Didn't answer, and blocked number.

Received 3calls. One Feb 17th, one today. I wondered if it was someone I know in VA so I called the number back and got a busy signal - odd. Then they called back later, but I missed it because my phone is always on silent. I figure it's a scam based on above messages.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know this is a call from a magazine subscription service.  IF you currently are receiving the magazine they are asking you about, then you have what is called an "established business relationship" with that magazine.  Best thing to do is to tell them to put you on their DNC list.  IF you don't have a subscription with the magazine or had it  end over 180 days ago OR if they call you after you told them to put you on their list. Then you have a case.  I went through this with the telescum DIAL AMERICA.

Unrecognized number + hangs up when ans machine comes on + reviews here = Blocked

They have been calling several times a day for a week.  I just tried to call them to see who they are.  The telephone company operator stated that my call could not be connected.  This is definitely a scam.

Constant calls from this number. My wife received a subscription to Guideposts as aChristmas gift.Before she received the first magazine she received a solicitation which instead of saying "enjoy your subscription " was a high pressure come on to buy a gift subscrption for some one else. Not sure if  this came from Guideposts or a third party but shortly after that the calls started from phone number 5407791184. Same happened a while back when I used poor judgement and subscribed to Consumer Reports. The calls started the and my junk mail increased markedly

Received call from this #. Did not pick up. No voice message

They say their from playboy for a renew subscription.  I usually get that in the mail.  I said yes, then they told me the price, I questioned it, and said I would have to think about it, said I would call them back, and he hung up fast. Called the number, couldn't get thru. FRAUD CALL

Called and did not leave a message - Blocked as usual

Called 4:07 PM March 7. No message. Thanks to all who provided info on this number. I just blocked it.

Asked for my husband by name.  This is the second day they have done this.  We have also been getting calls marked "Stafford, VA" that are invalid.

Going to report these people to the FCC and the police sick and tired of their calls

Regarding TV Guide subscription and can save 70% off, I said not at this time.  There was a question I answered and realized after I got off the phone.  Question "are you receiving your magazine in good condition,  no issues? " I responded yes. I  heard somewhere not to say yes.  Now paranoid! :(

They never leave a message called me three times this week, wondering if I should block this number.

Our land line picks these off as scam calls. We only hear one ring, if we are home to hear it. The call doesn't show on our caller ID but does show up on the call log on our cable tv.

These people call all the time. Several times a day. Since they seem to use this particular number over and over I am going to block it.

What a pain in rear these people are.
