CALLED At 9:22 PM on Thursday night--my children were almost asleep until the phone rang.  I asked them to call back at a more decent hour.

The phone just rang - 8:12PM

Caller ID MKTNG MASTERS I 885-2981
anybody know who they are or what they want?

They called twice today but I did not answer.  Thanks I now know who they are from previous reports; a marketing company--I will never answer.

They keep calling

I thought telemarketers were not allowed to call cell phones.  I have rec'd two calls over the last two days.

Attended a bridal show & entered a prize drawing, then weeks later(today) I got a phone call(different #) about verifying my information, that they would be calling in a few minutes to tell me how to claim my prize.
They called FOUR times so far(from this #), in a row.  No voicemail, either.

I thought that maybe this was a response to a entry to win something I had completed but when I called the number back the next morning te phone just rang.  My brother called me on my cell phone telling me that they were looking for me and continued to call many times aftrwards in the same next.  They said that I had entered a sweepstakes and I had been choosen to win.  I think that it is a scam of some sort.  So I'm not calling back.

they try to give u a "free vacation" after u sign up for a million offers i told them i wasnt interested and they still call me and my husband everyday its from a form i filled out at the car show in ocean city

This number has called me numerous times past 8 PM. I finally picked up tonight and for a second thought I won a sweepstakes. They claim you are GUARANTEED to win 1 of 4 prizes (ranging from 25,000 for a car, $20,000 in cash, 4 night Carribean cruise getaway, or $500 dollar Visa gift card). They also guaranteed a bonus gift which was a 3 night stay in Florida absolutely free. They even said they would reimburse me for my mileage. The woman on  the phone said I would be receiving a letter in the mail confirming everything we discussed and then we set up a time on Sunday for me to come down to take a tour of the place (http://www.wpresort.com/index.html)and to claim my prize. They also informed me someone would be calling me on Saturday to confirm my appointment on Sunday.

All of this because I filled out a sweepstakes giveaway at a Midas car shop. Thinking it was too good to be true I googled 'Wilderness Presidential Resorts' and boy am I glad I did. Thanks to this site (http://www.complaints.com/2007/february/24/Wi ... _Scam_17548.htm) I was able to save myself a lot of time and anger.

Hopefully this message will help people receiving this same call realize ITS A COMPLETE SCAM. And you better believe that when I receive the call on Saturday I am going to [***] out those scammers.

they keep caling my house and cell phone every day from morning till about 9:30 at night....It is getting old and i want it to stop

Recieved a call and was given an 800 number to call to claim the prize. Called the 800 number and would have to travel 3 and half hours.  Figured it was a timeshare company trying to have you come to the resort so they can make a sale. Thanks to this site, I know not to waste time or money on a trip that doesn't have any real promise!

Don't call me
