This number has called me to ask for money for the OSU foundation (someone I know actually was working the phone on the other end).  Also the call center is used for other things such as research studies, surveys, etc.  Was just called today from it to confirm that I will be at a focus group tomorrow on campus.

Got a call tonight 7/20 from this number but they did not leave a message. I went to OSU.

They called on a Sunday afternoon wanting to update my information. I told them I'm busy and hung up. Is this a scam?

I rec'd phone call about 8:45pm.  Didn't answer and they left no msg.

Called but no message. My wife is a member of OSU Alumni Association. Probably just a fundraising call.

They call parents, alumni, and people who previously donated. They're students who are calling, it's their job they are just working to get through school they're not actually looking for donations for themselves, it's to benefit OSU. There is no point in being rude, they called me I couldn't donate and they completely understand. Being rude to them just makes their job harder, they have enough on their plates as it is (being a full time student) take it easy on the callers.

Missed call, no msg. Although I have no affiliation w OSU, my guess is they are calling because I have previously donated to the Linus Pauling institute at OSU.

Just got this call on BOTH my and husbands cell phones, they claimed to be selling insurance, not from OSU. IF I wanted to update my insurance OR get a quote, I'd call THEM! So much for the "do not call" registry.

These guys call me like every few months looking for alumni donations.  It was the drawback I suppose to signing up for the newsletter, but i still like to know what the Beavers are up to.  I went to OSU.  Ill donate as soon as Im rich and famous - hasnt happened yet.

Not thrilled to give money unless the school stops funding petroleum interests. I do pay my kid's tuition there, though.

I just received a call, is this a scam?? Why would they not have people calling during the day not 8:45pm I'm confused! I refused to verify my information asked for a number to call them back and they supposedly said they would call during the day and they hung up! Seems very fishy!

Hi..I called Century Link  company..(  866-706-8592 )  to report   these calls   I have been getting as well as the ones you folks are getting ..and they say he has been reported to the Authorities...and he has  nothing to do with the Century Link company  and they feel they are equally a victim......Ed

called at 10:50PM and hung up when I answered.

I, too, received a call on my cell phone on 1-16-2015 at around 5 pm. Did not answer.

Someone keeps calling me daily from Corvallis, OR.  I don't know anybody from there.  When I accidentally called the number back, a recording came on with an error message saying it was an unassigned number.  The number calling me is 541 257 1554.

These calls are legit. They will try for a few weeks and quit. If you answer and tell them your are not interested they will stop for this time of year. It's just students doing their job at the foundation. They all are very nice and kind. I have not had a problem with any of them ever. They did call kinda late this last time 8:45 pm. I am going to ask if they can make sure not to call that late in the future.

Since May 18, we received calls on a daily basis. I have now put the number on the reject list, but will write to the OSU Foundation and complain. We have donated in the past, but these daily calls are annoying and I will let them know.

Calls started up again on 6/16, even though I wrote to the OSU Foundation on complained. Told them we would never give again because they annoyed us. Have put the number on our call screening list and now they can't get through anymore. Still annoying to see they started up again. I understand its students just doing their job, told them that they needed to come up with a better system instead of calling and calling and calling.
