4/22/2014:  551-226-6979 called left message in regard to criminal charges, please contact ext: 302 to voluntarily rectify.  I ignored the call.  Within 30 minutes my ex wife of over 15 years received the same phone call looking for me.  WOW!.   I called the number back.  Investigator Williams answered I asked for extension 302 and was spoke with a Darren York of CR (?) Processing, (mediation?) who is a debt collection agency for 800 Fast Cash and United Cash Loans plus others.  

I received a message from an investigator Williams.  When I called the number, another guy answered and asked for my number.  I did not give it out to him and told him I was not the person they were looking for.  He ran over the list of numbers they would have called for this person and asked me to identify the phone number , but I told him to go over the numbers with me, but I gave no response.  I told him that I would do my own investigation of his company before I call back to take my number off his list.    Apparently, this is all fraudulent.   DO NOT EVER REPEAT YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO THESE GUYS.  Somehow, it gives them more leverage.  If you ever call them back make sure your number is blocked.

I believe this is fraudulent.  

They are also calling from 919-229-4802
Again, I received several messages from Darren York...stating I was being investigated for Fraud. I told him to stop calling me and my family and he stated I needed to take this matter serious...so I did...I hung up!!

Received call asking for my mother in law.  Wouldn't give them any info.  Derek King 551-226-6979 said she wrote bad checks and they want to collect on them.  Kept pressing them for info and they hung up on me.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

they never once got ignorant or loud when i contacted them and ask for info about the loan also requested a letter and it was sent ..and this was 3 months ago my card is still activated and never once ran bye them but 1 time for my settlment i agreed on...im nervous now reading this thiers nothing they did to me that would indicate thier a scam i have a paid letter and everything whoever wrote this i want a real answer to how u know 100% forsure because what you wrote about how they act never came into play with me...sincerly......jamie cochran

These scamsters are also showing up as 551-497-4936.  Don't know if is the real calling number or if they are spoofing the caller ID.
