When I told one of the scammers that I would 'make it my "job" to file reports for 8 hours a day for a week with the FTC' (during the government shut-down), he laughed and said, "Your government can't get its act together, so what makes you think they are going to be able to stop a few phone calls? Think again!!!"

The number 551-976-9587. What good does it do to be on the do not call list? These companies call almost every day.Card member services. You can't opt out also can't tell them to stop as they hang up before you finish your sentence

Drug addicted card services.  I gave them false information, and they came back and got quite nasty when I told them I gave them wrong information.  I figure if I keep them on the line, it's one less person they will try to scam.

Continued solicitation for lower credit card interest rate. Never stops. Very rude. They change numbers frequently... please make them stop...

Credit Card SCAMMERS call "..........press 1 to reduce your rates or 3 to be removed from our list".
Didn't do either and let the call disconnect and then went and blocked the TURDS.

I recently have begun getting calls from this number, its a SCAM.  The FCC has new guidelines on Robocalls and we should all be filling out the complaint forms on the FCC.gov website and reporting each new bogus number.

These numbers are varied randomly, from a list of who knows how many. They are using VOIP so there essentially is no charge except for their time. The phone number you see is a network spoof.

I agree with wasting their time. I often pretend age, intoxication, stupidity, poor eyesight, and many many can you repeat that, your cutting out.

Unfortunately i do not think there will be a critical mass of people doing this. They feel their time more valuable.  But here's an idea.  We should start a website that offers prizes. It would cost a dollar or five to join for life. Regular monthly prizes could be awarded in categories like length of call, most frustrating character, creative conversations, and eliciting the most interesting response from the solicitor. If it were easier to record calls on the average cellphone, and a few rich calls were recorded & uploaded to Youtube, it could go viral, like Russian car videos.

Robo callers devices do not have access to "do not call list"!  IF you don't know the number when it shows up on a display, DO not answer the calls.
This has cut down on my incoming calls a lot, tho I still get a few.

If you get a call from "ACCOUNT SERVICES" the number to call back is (497) 512-1397. I keep calling them and bugging them. They finally blocked me from calling them.

Credit card scam.  I'm working on making them so mad that they actually have a stroke while on the phone.

17 minutes and 35 seconds, she stuck with with me for two call-ins (the second with two of the false digits transposed), a rarity anymore. My personal best was three call-ins, probably over twenty minutes, and I got to insult the guy for a couple minutes at the end. I may need to change up my method slightly to keep them on the line longer.

Same old scam, "Rachel from Account Services". This time the call simply went quiet when I hit '1', then eventually dropped.

Good job on keeping the illegal caller on the line for as long as possible.  I get a cathartic feeling of satisfaction when doing the same thing.  At the minimum it will be one less senior citizen the will scam today.

Been getting calls every day lots of times more than once from several different area codes and numbers. I just quiet the ringer and don't answer any calls out of my area code.  My home phone does not have caller ID I used to answer and get the real person and blow a whistle. Now I have my answer machine answer after 1 ring and tell anyone if they don't tell me who's calling I don't answer. Saves a lot of aggravation.  I just hope whoever is in charge of the "do not call" program isn't getting paid to much because they sure aren't doing anything.

Darn, I keep missing their calls and they leave a recording.  I can't wait to give them all my credit card numbers and social security number.  Maybe I can talk them into taking all my bank account information so they can help me out their also.
