I just received a call from that number.. also from Shane....saying my Windows 7.1  machine was sending messages to the windows servers and their company was called Windows Service Center.  I asked to speak to the supervisor who sounded strangely like the same guy.  He gave me a phone number to call ...1-800-624-7545.  I looked that up and it is for a carpeting store.  When I told the guy I hadn't used my 7.1 machine in over a month..he stammered.. mumbled something and hung up.  Idiots!!!!  

Strange.. just a few minutes prior I received a similar call from 336-555-0121 and I had received one earlier this week.  

I received a call from "Steve" and he sai he was calling from Windows Tech Dept....I would say Indian type accent.  He said my computer was sending out error messages to them and if I would go to my computer, he could show me what he meant.  When I asked him how he could get an error message from my computer, he said that we are networked together. I tried getting more info but kept repeating the same things, so I hung up.  When I tried to call the number back, a message said the number was not valid.
