Just got the call. I blame Calvin Coolidge.

This number calls my phone repeatedly and it's always an automated message.

Received call from "Heather" about expiring car warranty. I said no when asked if I wanted to speak to a representative. Then it hung up. Blocked number.

got this call form Heather today.  I act crazy when I get these calls.  I get completely off what they are talking about.  Then, when they hang up, I try to call them back.  Usually, I can't.  I got a message on this number saying It had been "disconnected or no longer in service."  I talked to them just a couple of minutes earlier.  I wish there were a way to "forward" these calls to our elected representatives.  Then, they might stop these unwanted calls.  But, I figure these scam artists are paying taxes so CONgress will let them pester us.  All I know to do is take as much time with them as I can so they won't pester someone else until they hang up.  I called one number several times about midnight.  Never talked to anyone but did get a message to "press 9" to be added to a "do not call" list.  I did not press 9 but they haven't called back.  I called them about 20 times.  Had fun with it.  Acted crazy.  Asked them crazy questions.  Answered nothing. Had fun...

Just got a call from this number and one from Oklahoma earlier today; both automated saying that the warranty on my car was up. I have a brand new car! I just hung up, but they are calling my cell phone, I never give that number out. Whats going on???

called my cell twice within an hour left no message when i called it back it said the number was disconnected.  can you say SCAM!!!

My wife had a call from this number this morning, but did not pick up suspecting it was another scam.  We know no one in the area code they called from and assume if the caller was "legitimate" they'd be leaving a message.  They didn't....  Interestingly, only a few minutes before she got her call, I had a single ring on my cell from 336-477-8803, which 800notes.com contributors say is the same scammer group.

Yes, these calls are frustrating.  Unfortunately scumbags call because they know the law off averages are on their side and they're going to get lucky every so often and steal some poor gullible soul's money.  What they do is a big business, and they are making billions of dollars bilking easy "marks".  They also know they are never going to get caught.  I have seen no significant effort by our federal or state representatives to stop this thievery.  Wonder why OUR elected officials seem so uninterested in protecting their constituents from phone predators.

Obama didn't cause this (I hate Obama, but I don't place blame where it doesn't belong).  However, he did nothing to curb these calls either; just like everyone.  Perhaps Trump will do something about it.  He's a bit different then all the other politicians.

This has nothing to do with the Obama administration. In fact, in May 2014, Sprint was  fined a record $7.5 million for failing to honor requests by consumers to opt out of receiving telemarketing calls and texts. The fine followed an investigation that had begun in 2012.

Got the warranty scam call today.  Told them my newest car is a 1999, oldest is a 1990.  I asked if they really thought I had any warranty after 2002.  They hung up.
